Help with furniture ideas and placement

Looking for furniture design and placement inspiration for the front room. The room is 14ft x 10ft. All furniture will be replaced. I would like it to be a cozy conversation room and maximize seating for family gatherings.

I’m not sure how often. It is still being built. Lol. I want it to be a comfortable bed and I’m not sure if Murphy beds are. I was thinking of queen size bed and reclining loveseat on the same wall and the tv in the nook. It will be tight though.

I would set it up with a formal sitting area with 4 chairs around a round coffee table centered in front of the fireplace. If you can get two more of the chairs you have that would be good, or do a loveseat along the wall facing the fireplace and the two chairs angled across from the loveseat.

As it is now, the seating is too far apart. I would consider a sofa in front of the windows with two chairs in a U shape. You could add end tables with lamps for lighting in the room. How long is the rug you have in the room now?

katinparadise - place the sofa where the settee currently is or against the wall with the three windows facing the entryway to the living room.
