I think it's just a big mess. We have received refunds the last few years and I keep getting the same status.

Judy--I have the SAME exact situation and problem.

Yes. DH has been trying. There's a page where you can provide your bank info if they didn't have it before, but that page says Payment Status Not Available. He saw something that says when one can expect it, I can't remember what the determiner is, but it looks like late June for us. If we needed it, that would probably be too late.

However, DS26 got his.

Now I feel better that it is not just us. I do not care when we get it but I sure would like it sooner than later. I am pretty sure those that had refunds the last 2 years with a debit pretty all got theirs by now. At least most people I know did.

I've had to pay a couple hundred dollars of tax each year and have it debited from my bank account. When I checked on the IRS website it said a check would be mailed to me April 24.

Judy....I had the same problem. Tried it again the next day....and it worked!

I haven't received a stimulus check either. I thought maybe it would come at the same time as my soc.sec. payment, which was deposited today, but it didn't. Since SS is direct deposit, I guess they know where to find me ... eventually.

I received stimulus deposit. I'm waiting on the processing of unemployment.

Hello everyone, I haven’t been here in years so I hope it’s ok if I comment 😬.

I tried the GET MY PAYMENT site several days ago and got the same response as everyone else “ status not available” , then I tried the next day same thing. Once I read the faqs questions I decided to just be patient and wait a bit. So I tried again maybe 5 days later and it gave a date for when to expect my deposit. And sure enough I checked today and it was there, and we didn’t file our taxes until early April. Hope that helps 😊

So are you guys all going to "stimulus" spend your money?

I have tried a few times. It tells me we are eligible and then when I put in my (triple checked) data for both 2019 and 2018 along with the banking, it says our info does not match.

I am thinking we will receive a check at some point ( because one year we owed and following year we applied refund to future estimated tax) ... and of course will check our bank account. We do get soc sec via direct deposit, but already got our April payments and no stimulus funds.

From what I read, since there are so so so many to be paid, it will likely go into May or June.

Anyway I checked lots of the reasons for having a glitch with the info submitted and I really can't find a reason for our situation.

I clicked on Nicole's link and input the SS#, etc. and it said a paper check will be mailed to me on April 24th. So, that's progress, compared to the many times of getting error msgs.

I still get “status not available” so I will try again tomorrow.

I just checked this morning and my status changed. It said I was eligible for a payment and I was able to put in my banking information.

My status also finally changed and they are allowing me to input my banking information. One small glitch is that we neither owed nor received a refund and that is a required entry so the form is not accepted without an entry. I tried saying we got a refund and entered a zero for the amount and that is not allowed. There is no place to enter that we came out even. Since we've been getting direct deposits for SS for umpteen years, they already have our direct deposit information. Now what???

It worked this morning!!! All set I hope. Thank goodness.

I just checked my status after seeing this post and mine stills says I'm eligible and the page will update when they have a payment date.

I wonder how long it takes after you enter your banking info for the check to be deposited? I'm glad that most folks are finally getting information.

Norar--your situation is very frustrating. I wish you lucky. Keep trying the website. Maybe send an email or write to your representative.

My plan is to buy my own place in next year or 2. I'll be saving my stimulus money

There doesn’t seem to be any rhyme or reason. My youngest DD got hers, oldest didn’t. neither did we. Yet, a couple we know both got theirs at the same time. My nephew got his, yet his parents did not.

If you filed married and your spouse or a dependent died expect to pay the extra back. I was surprised when I received the $2,400 because when I filed checked the box that my husband was deceased. Last night I saw where the Treasury Department was "investigating" if they should recover the money and how. I was expecting to return it and have heard of others who have simply sent a check to Treasury but there is no guarantee that it would be noticed that it was from the stimulus.

Updating, I guess over the weekend I had heard ( or read) enough people saying the site was updated and working properly so I entered my info. Finally it let me enter the banking info and it said that the payment would be done to the account indicated. Finally an acknowledgment I wasn't super concerned, but after entering both 2019 and 2018 info multiple times and telling me my info did not agree with their records, I was relieved to be able to enter the banking and then got this:

You are eligible for the payment. Once we have your payment date, we will update this page.

We will deposit your payment to the bank account below.

Updates to your payment are made no more than once a day. We will mail you a letter with additional information on this payment."
