Stimulus checks are based on 2018 income - not 2019, and so what you declare for 2019 has nothing to do with it.

You're correct Nicole____ I read a post yesterday from someone lamenting having already filing their 2019 taxes where their salary raise removed them from consideration for a stimulus check; whereas they were eligible using their 2018 earnings.

so had I had my 2019 taxes completed not being able to claim DD, and she had her 2019 filed, she would have received a stimulus check too..??

We have not filed for 2019 and now waiting to the end since we will owe THEM money. We have paid in for several years. But used to get a refund, when the kids were young. I guess they cannot use our bank account that has been debited for the stimulus payment. We are within the guidelines, anybody know when and how we will receive our money.

I keep checking the "get Payment" on IRS, just keep getting no information available. I am confused.

My friend, whose husband died in 2019, and her son, whose wife died in 2019, each received a stimulus check for $2,400, based on their tax returns.

The site is going down for 3 days starting tonight. I wonder if that is why some people are showing there is no information, they're having problems and trying to fix them? I checked a week or so ago and put my bank info in, I just checked and they have no further info for me other than that I am going to get some money. I hope they send it electronically and not through the mail. Do not want a Trump check.

Nicole, dd turned 19 in January. I just filed her 2019 taxes last night. I wish I hadn't procrastinated, I could have easily had them done months ago.
