Comments (33)Hubs taught the kids to drive in that VW. Main reason we wanted them to always drive a stick shift. That car is still in great shape after two teenage drivers from some years back. Hubs will teach our two grands to drive in this car. After 57 years, she looks same as day she rolled out of Germany. Gives me smiles reading each of your VW stories. Loving all the pics today. Comments (11)Tuesday was our annual Ride for Dad Luncheon. I'm invited every year because of Tom. It was great, and they presented our local hospital with a cheque for $89K. The money raised goes to prostate cancer research and development. My friend Pat and I went together, she owns the yellow mustang convertible 😁 and she and her husband rode every year. He died 2 months after Tom. This is Tom the year he was invited as an Honorary Ride Captain, giving a speech. This is Pat and I on Tuesday. I love this!!! 6 years agoWe had big storms Wednesday night that downed trees and power lines, so getting on has been a challenge. We are hoping that the last of the outages (on my street) will be fixed by today. Then tonight we are going to get 60 mph winds so if more trees come down, we will be knocked back to square one. But while I have the ability today, I am happy to be back with you all. Happy Easter and Happy Passover.

I don't have any Easter pics, but my Ebb Tide cutting bloomed today. First blooms can be atypical, and it will eventually be much darker and purple. Pic was made after a heavy rain and windstorm passed thru this morning.

Friend brought Mia an Easter bunny hoodie last year and she was not happy to be a bunny. It stayed on long enough for a picture.
