Disappointed with ugly place in BA granite
Comments (9)From the "Read Me" thread: Posting a picture from your photo hosting account (e.g., PhotoBucket) First, where are your pictures? If on your computer only, you'll need to upload them somewhere on the web for the rest of us to see them. I upload pictures to PhotoBucket. Open an account w/PhotoBucket or other photo hosting site. Take a picture using a digital camera (or film camera but get them on disk when they're developed) Resize your pics so they're approx 400x300 (resize keeping the same proportions so they don't get distorted...i.e., don't specify a specific size, use %-ages or similar) Upload your pictures to your photo account Find the label that contains the link to the picture (In PhotoBucket, it's the box labeled "HTML Code") Copy that link and paste it into the "Message" box of a post. When you "Preview" your message, you'll see the picture. PhotoBucket Link Views: Posting a picture from somewhere other than your Photo hosting account Copy the following into the "Message" box where you want the picture to be: Next, replace the http://www.XXX/image.jpg with the address of the image. When you "preview" the message, you should see the picture Here is a link that might be useful: Read Me If You're New To GW Kitchens!...See MoreBossy ugly granite working with
Comments (7)@millworkman well I actually do like the tile but we want to get rid of the carpeted areas of the first floor so we thought we’d replace the whole first floor. Still deciding about that I’m trying to bring the whole house together colorwise if that makes sense so it “flows”. Open to any and all suggestions. Thanks for your response !...See MoreHELP UGLY Granite bathroom counters and Almond Colored Fixtures
Comments (9)If it helps I had an ugly Baltic brown granite counter with dated fixtures and dated 4” backsplash/sidesplash, but was not up for a demolition project in this bathroom so left it. . We plopped a new white rectangular semi-recessed Toto sink on top of the old oval hole (the belly of the new sink sits down into the old oval cutout, no cutting & patching). The new sink & faucet stand higher and brighter against the hated brown granite. Relatively low cost low mess. Comments (4)Hi Boxerpal, I appreciate for your comment, do you have a boxer ? We do too he is the sweetest. About our kitchen , our main goal is getting away from the cabinet color we have now and change to something light , but we don’t want to have to change the granite top for budgeting reasons , but it’s also setting limits for our options for the cabinet colors. Our home is basic and traditional since it is a new home that look like like everyone else in the neighborhood so we are changing things up slowly. We want to go more contemporary, minimalist style . Light , earth tones would be ideal . I will try to take some better Pictures after I clean up the kitchen . 😂...See MoreKristin Castaneda
