Agree about the stiltgrass. Do not let it go to seed. It is VERY INVASIVE and will take over whole forests. Pull it out as you see it. It first came into this country as dry packing material in shipments from Japan and has taken over where it is left to grow. Nothing will grow where it grows once it takes over. Horrible horrible plant. I can only control it on my property. I am powerless over it around my area.

I have an established Bermuda grass that looks fantastic, other than a 10x10 patch of this grass. I thought it was centipede, but someone else said it wasn’t. Please help me identify it and kill it! Thanks!

It is a winter germinating annual weed so as soon as it starts warming a tad in late winter or early spring, chickweed springs to life. In fact, early spring - NOW - is the best time to go after most annual weeds! @Timi M, it's hard to find an app that is even slightly accurate with plant ID!! There is always someone on these forums that can nail it in minutes. A lot of very experienced plant people hang out here :-)
