Advice: Food processor for tough jobs

Our Cuisinart Pro Classic blade finally broke, and I am looking for a new processor. I would like to have your advice; what we do with it is:

- Tough jobs, such as grinding dried bread pieces to make bread crumbs, grinding raw or semi-frozen bacon for sauces, etc. The Cuisinart seemed to suffer through these jobs.

- Classical mincing (e.g., onions, carrots), where the Cuisinart was good.

- Sauces (like pesto): the Cuisinart was great, because the old blade was very close to the bottom of the bowl, so it would scoop up and grind everything properly.

Price is not really a bit constraint as we plan to get something good and keep it a long long time (the Cuisinart died after ~10 years, but I think the tough jobs really were hard on it).

If the processor could do also small batches via an additional bowl or something, it would be a plus. Do you have any advice?
