Earth Angel....is your rebloom cycle slow like mine?
Comments (10)In my garden, I would call Bolero a " mass production blooming machine", while Earth Angel is more in the " exquisitely hand crafted in small batches" kind of rose. Yes, I'd love more of Earth Angels gorgeous blooms, but maybe that will improve with maturity. For now I just enjoy each and every bloom I get from Earth Angel. I must admit that as gorgeous as Boleros blooms are, I almost take them for granted by now. There are always so many blooms, all of the time, that I don't ooh and aah over each one. I guess that's human nature. I definitely ooh and aah over each Earth Angel bloom. I'm willing to keep my Earth Angel for sure, but like Moses, I'm not rushing out to buy a second one. If mine starts blooming more frequently with age, I might. If I had all space, $, energy and water in the world, I would buy enough Earth Angels to ensure a supply of them for big vasefuls. Alas, I do not. I will just enjoy my one Earth Angel for now. Lisa...See MoreWhere did you get your “Eyes” roses?
Comments (5)I got mine from all different sources. BULL'S EYE came from Edmunds. EYES FOR YOU I got from Burlington Roses. EYES ON ME came from Lowes. EYECONIC MELON LEMONADE from Regans. They carry all the "Eyeconic" series ones. And got my BLUE FOR YOU from Cliff back when he first opened EuroDesert Roses. Not sure who has BFY anymore tho. Disease resistance is generally pretty good on all of them, but this yr has been such a weird, wet and cold one that they all have been hit with black spot....See MoreHow big does Earth Angel get?
Comments (11)Rose Apothecary, your findings are similar to others I’ve read on this forum. BenT, I had Bolero at my old house, but it didn’t do well for me there .. probably too crowded. I do love the scent, though. Either way, Earth angel is out of the mix. i may put three of my minifloras there. They’re still in 1 gallon pots, and should be blooming soon (I hope). They’re supposed to stay small, and their colors should work (Crystal Palace, Unbridled, and Hello sunshine). Basically going from white, to white with pink edges, to pink-white-yellow blush. Of course, I always assume they will all bloom at the same time... Moonstone will bloom any day now. Can’t wait!...See MoreEarth Angel, Huntington Rose, Munstead Wood, Like No Other...
Comments (16)@sbrklyn_7bny Thank you. I agree that Earth Angel is such a beautiful rose that it's justifiable to have more than one. @Kristine LeGault 8a pnw Thank you Kristine. I think K&M have Dave's roses now even though they haven't listed them on their website but they did mention them on their Facebook account. @berrypie7 Thank you. The secret to a good picture is only capturing the best moment/angle. My garden has overgrown weeds like most other gardens but I love mine with weeds and all, lol.
