Where did you get your “Eyes” roses?

I have been really enjoying those of you who have posted your Eyes roses. Specifically Eyes on You and Easy on the Eyes. And any of the other ones!

Where have y’all purchased them from? And have you had them long enough to comment on their disease resistance/bloomability?

I am also after Blue for You if any of you have that one as well.

I have Easy on the Eyes, from a great deal in February. It was part of get 5 surprise roses selected by the seller (one of each color) for $20 bucks.

It's a nice rose; one of those that look much better in person than in pictures. At $4, it was a steal of a deal.

DVS, wow what a steal! I would have been thrilled with that. I have actually seen one in person but Roses Unlimited won’t havw any to sell until next year maybe. Also, their plants looked like something was going on with the leaves?

Do you have the website your ordered yours from so I can make a note to keep an eye out for it? No pun intended :).

Hey there- I think it was a small piece of my husbands grandmother Saima's rose. It has grown well for many years on the farm in Menahga, near Park Rapids MN. It is thought by the family that Saima's mother brought it over with her from Finland. It is a sturdy, to 8+' tall shrub rose that will gradually spread a bit from the roots. It has small but beautiful double white blossoms with a light fragrance blooming all along the branch once in late spring to early summer. It has unusually small and delicate very dark green foliage compared to any other rose I have seen. A friend who loves roses once thought she may have identified it as a once well known antique/heirloom rose from France from several centuries ago- 1700s I believe. Alas, I can not remember the name she gave me- I believe it was a woman's name..... maybe with a title like countess.... She seemed to think it was a highly sought after rose for those who like the really old world roses. I like it very much as it is very care free- disease and pest resistant- A tall structural element to a garden- the darker green and delicate foliage add contrast to what ever is planted with it, and of course, it is a bit of family history growing on. It is however very thorny. Long and short delicate slivers that easily pierce the hands and feet! I have to mow around it, so I get reminded of the thorns frequently. Where did you get your island stools ?

Hi, Jessie - The measurements for the LNT stools are: Seat - 9 x 17 1/2; Legs (widest part) - 14 1/2 x 17. If these are too big for you, there are similar ones at Ballard that are smaller and more squarish. I have linked those below. Well, thanks for asking about my RH Brightwood pendants. They are hung and look great, but they still don't have shades. You remember that I had gotten enclosed bell shades from Schoolhouse Electric in the 2.25 fitter size? (I wanted the enclosed shades because I was worried about the glare from exposed bulbs, since I was hanging them high above the table. RH doesn't have enclosed shades that small.) Trying to be environmentally conscious, I ordered the fixtures with the GU24 socket and 24W bulb, but did not think it through or do my research. As it turns out, I have yet to find a GU24 bulb that fits into the shade. (In fact, you have to go down to an 18W to even get a shade that will fit into a 2.25 GU24 socket, never mind the shade. RH is changing their site to not allow you to select GU24 in 2.25 fitter size with a 24W bulb.) I understand there are 13W and 9W bulbs out there, but I hate to order them without knowing the dimensions because they have mercury in them and are difficult to dispose of if they don't work, and with shipping returning them is a hassle and expensive. And these bulbs are so new that I am not finding them IRL. Plus, I am now also reading that the bulbs may not be safe with an enclosed shade! Anyway, I will keep you posted... Hi, you mean the white one? It was my grandmother's and was built in 1958. I just saw one similar recently...I think it was in an ad for something else though. I am looking for a sofa for my new LR (the white one is a whopping 97 inches!) I will keep my eyes peeled for you.

I just ordered mine from rejuvenation. i found they were an exact match to my bar pulls from another brand. for my style, they have 8", 12" and 18" ones. I got 12" ones for my 36" fridge. I am receiving and installing them today. I can update with photo later. large pulls from rejuvenation

I got mine from all different sources. BULL'S EYE came from Edmunds. EYES FOR YOU I got from Burlington Roses. EYES ON ME came from Lowes. EYECONIC MELON LEMONADE from Regans. They carry all the "Eyeconic" series ones. And got my BLUE FOR YOU from Cliff back when he first opened EuroDesert Roses. Not sure who has BFY anymore tho. Disease resistance is generally pretty good on all of them, but this yr has been such a weird, wet and cold one that they all have been hit with black spot.

Beth, thank you so much for the list! I haven’t even heard of Eyeconic Melon. Googling that one now and am loving that one too! Maybe I’ll just have to buy every one of them! Although my husband will probably think I’m crazy ha!

I got both of my Eyes for You and Blue for You from Burlington. My Eyes has stayed fairly small (less than 5 feet tall) but its flowers tend to blow fast and then I am left with nothing but ugly canes. My Blue for You does pretty well. It is in a large pot . I am not overly fond of these roses and have had them for at least three--four years. They are just not my favorites with Blue tending to be prettier than Eyes for me.
