What Color To Paint Cold Feeling Kitchen?

Hi all,

I just joined and am in need of some suggestions!

Our house has recently completed some electrical work and there's patches of concealed holes all over the kitchen. I thought this would be a perfect time to give our space a paint job since I've never really liked the grey-blue color it originally was anyways.

This space is very cold feeling, lots of greys and cool tones. The backsplash is very dark grey, the counter tops are a speckled grey, the floor is blueish grey. Not to mention all our appliances are silver. Pretty depressing. I've considered contact paper or peel and stick tile but that can get a little pricey seeing how our backsplash covers all the walls except the one pictured.

I wanted to add a little intrigue and warmth if possible. I did a swatch of light pink beside the hot pink putty color, but I'm not sold on it. I would love to add in a green but I don't think it would work with the space. Just a few ideas.

Please help me!

Much appreciated.
