Comments (17)I miss all the colors of the spring, summer and fall. The gray gloom of winter (at least where I live) can really wear on a soul. But I know it won't be long now. Comments (29)Murraysmom, I used to give cat food to an old lady who lived down the bayou from me. I had her 4 cats neutered for her. She died and I fed the cats. Meanwhile, someone dumped out a white cat there. She had kittens. I told her boyfriend I would find homes for the kittens. He said he was keeping one and he knew people who would take the others. But he moved off and left them. I moved away but furnished food and paid someone to feed them. Once I got settled, I went back and got them. By then the mama cat, and her 3 daughters were all pregnant...they all had white kittens. 6 years agoIt's hard to pick a favorite picture of Teddy. But I picked one that to me epitomized his life on the farm when I owned him. He had a large pasture filled with friends and food. He loved it there. The other pictures were a cool capture of how much horses love to roll! :)
Did anyone who ever had a horse hear the saying about a horse being worth $1,000 every roll they completed? So rolling back and forth several times meant they were worth several thousand dollars? I had heard it many years ago and of course isn't conclusive of anything, but just folklore.
