Don't remember whether I did for them after we parted, when they were 9 and 6, probably something to reassure them that Dad still loved them. Just dug out the fourth last chocolate mound, one of the box of cookies that my neighbours gave me for Christmas, cut it into about six thin slices that I've been enjoying while reading your stories. Comments (8)Thanks, Randy. LV is one of my most favorite roses - it really loves our climate and our garden. When we moved in here in 1989, there was a HUGE bush of it (8 ft high, by 15 feet wide) in the front garden. It took us years to find out who it was. It turned out, years later, to be two bushes, as it had tip rooted. Those old ones are gone now, but I have 2 bushes which are rooted cuttings of the old ones, and I love, love them.
