Shout-out to Maryml

Hi - just wanted to let you know that I made your .Slow Cooker Garlic-Sesame Beef tonight - it's yummy! Very easy and delicious. We each had 2 servings. I made a copycat Chipotle lime/cilantro rice to go with it and that was very disappointing. But the sauce in your recipe saved it.

Thanks for the recipe - it's now in my "keeper" file.

Here's the recipe for those that missed it:

Slow Cooker Garlic-Sesame Beef

6 green onions, sliced

1/2 cup sugar,

1/2 cup water

1/2 cup reduced sodium soy sauce

1/4 cup sesame oil

3 tablespoons sesame seeds, toasted

2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 beef sirloin tip roast (2 lbs.) thinly sliced & split

Additional green onions and sesame seeds for garnish, if desired.

In large resealable plastic bag, mix the first 8 ingredients. Add beef, seal bag and turn to coat. Refrigerate 8 hours or overnight.

Pour beef and marinade into a 3 qt. slow cooker. Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours or until beef is tender. Serve over rice.
