I have soooo little time to myself in the evenings though-- I'd still rather buy than make if I can pull off something nice and fun.

I also don’t care for Nutella. For that reason, I would just buy these and call it done.

I don't like Nutella either. I might consider a tray of fruits and othe dipping items (eg pretzels, 'nilla wafers). Then people can take it or leave it.

I make Nutella tea sandwiches, white bread, crusts cut off. It's easy and a big hit with all Nutella lovers. Aside from that, there is Nutella in crepes with bananas.

My boys like to just spread it on rolls, buns, that kind of thing. I used to send it in their care packages to college.

Like Zalco, I might make little sandwiches ( I would be inclined to use a raisin, date or apricot bread though). And you could make some with cream cheese or another nut butter for those who don't like Nutella (like me, I just don't care for hazelnut in general).

Another thought is sliced apples or pears and thin wafer cookies or crackers for a "spread your own" tray.

I like to spread it on Belvita Golden Oat breakfast biscuits. Really good!

My 25 yo dd loves nutella. Her favorite way to eat it is with a spoon out of the jar!

Lol czarina —some of our folks too! This team loves their sweets but I do healthy stuff too. Today is veggies and hummus.

Never thought of sandwiches... Maybe triangles of banana bread, fruit, pretzels on a tray. They can make sandwiches or just dip.

How many on your team? I'd probably take czarina's suggestion and buy them each a small jar with a spoon. A tray of cookies and fruit to share.

(I don't like it either, but the people who do seem to be very happy to eat it right out of the jar).

OMG...I could polish off a french bread with nutella!! another favorite is the croissants from costco toasted up in the toaster over and spread some nutella

Yes, lol.. each person (other than me!) would get their own container. We're cozy but not THAT cozy. We do share dips and hummus.. but only because there's a spoon to add it to a plate!

Do you know there is a Nutella store in Chicago? That could be a destination vacation! Recently, a friend made Nutella Babka--heavenly. I personally have made Nutella filled chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing. Yum. Nutella and banana bread sounds delicious.

I said I wasn't going to bake but I think I will try to find time to make my banana bread -- it's a whole wheat banana bread with yogurt and honey. Maybe just that and fruit? This group isn't big on pretzels and I think I want to stay away from cookies. I can't really say why except I want to keep it a little more healthy and less processed.

Recommendations for fruit? I know strawberries will work.. raspberries? oranges/clementines?

Honestly, save yourself the work of baking bread. I would just do sliced baguettes and dipped strawberries would be fabulous

I like my Nutella about five miles away from wherever I'd be. Sorry, not helpful. In the last few years I've developed a very unpleasant sensitivity to many tree nuts, and hazelnut is one that I dislike so intensely I have no intention of discovering if that is a nut I could (hypothetically) eat.

I would simply have the Nutella for dipping, along with options for those who want nothing to do with the stuff.

IIRC it has a peanut butter like consistency (someone who eats it can tell us for sure) so the fruit needs to be sturdy enough.

I think I would put out these mini crackers, everyone gets there own little bag and a small jar of Nutella.

Thank you all! Well, I have taken Jojoco's advice to simplify... that's always a good thing. My team is international and primarily Indian. There are particular tastes that are more popular than others-- I don't know that French bread is one of them but I do know they love croissants. I will do mini croissants, strawberries and Nutella. Grapes are also popular-- I don't think they go with Nutella but I will get a big bunch to add color to the platter. Easy Peasy, done!

Sounds like a great plan. I personally make GF Nutella brownies and they are so simple -- three ingredients --- Nutella, eggs, almond flour. Sometimes I add some vanilla. Stirred with a spoon and they taste great (can also be made with regular flour). Also great with Ice Cream when I need a GF dessert

My first taste of Nutella was back in the early 1970s when we lived in Europe. All of us loved it, with the exception of my daughter, and she still doesn't care for it to this day. When we returned to the USA, I was unable to find Nutella. Happily, though, within a few years it started showing up in grocery stores and we were absolutely thrilled.

I love it any way you can think of when eating. Lately, I have been stirring a spoonful of it into my plain homemade yogurt with or without a mashed banana or some jam. It is so good with the tartness of the yogurt.
