I wish the search function was better on houzz, so maybe someone else can remember but there was a similar thread a few months ago, and they were able to add colors with pillows (and a rug which definitely would work in your room) ----and possibly lighting , to make the gray less blue.

I think the light you have is not helping, and I would think you need more lighting as well as probably a different bulb.

FWIW on my monitor, it does not look blue but I do believe that in your room in real life, it reads blue.

I like the color of sofa for what it's worth and greys to me always look green. Are you planning a different coffee table? If so dark would look nice with the sofa.

I think what is throwing you off is your wall paint. Did you paint before the sofa was delivered?

i googled your paint as all our monitors can look different. It is a greige which seems to read more on the beige on my monitor.

i would remove the teal pillows. Look for a few accent pillows that incorporate blue,tan and ivory.

Lighting in your own home as opposed to show rooms or swatches can change dramatically.

See what happens as the seasons change. If you are unhappy most of the time, you might thing about repainting to more of a true clean beige if the sofa seems to stay blue.

The couch actually looks gray on my monitor. Your walls are too yellowish (on my monitor), that could actually be from the type of bulb you have in the lamp back of the couch. Change that bulb to a daylight type bulb, and see if it makes a difference. If you have other lighting in that area, then make sure they have daylight bulbs too. I agree, the coffee table is not right, with your furniture. You could also use new end tables and side lamps, and a large rug in front of the couch. Your pillows on the couch, that you say are teal, are way too light colored and washed out. Replace them with something brighter.

Sounds like the winter/northern light makes everything bluer. I'd start by switching light bulbs to more yellow light. I'd also get pillow sin warmer colors (yellow, orange?)

Ok thanks everyone! Yes I had the walls painted years ago before this couch. I’ll change the bulbs. I will get new pillow covers for sure. This coffee table is too big so my husband was going to build a new one that’s smaller so it’s easier to walk beside. Would all white or dark look better? Any suggestions? I was also going to buy a whitish cream throw with a fringe and drape it across the couch to add some brightness too.

Also this is our fireplace and tv stand wall so you can see what colours I’m working with. Eventually we’re gonna take the fireplace out and do one on the wall but that could be a few years. Any suggestions for the bare tv wall? I was thinking of shelving above or bigger pictures surrounding it. Id like to get rid of the bigger speaker on the side too. Thanks!

I like the paint color, what color is it and who makes it?

If this was my room, I’d consider making the following changes:

• add a rug under the entire seating area
• eliminate coffee table altogether
• add end table(s)
• add sofa table behind sofa with lamps
• reposition sofa
• replace television with larger one
• investigate possibility of mounting television above fireplace (check fireplace installation documents for clearance requirements/heat output)
• replace television stand with longer one
• remove photos from above television

I actually really like the texture that the stone wall and wood mantel provide!

It’s Collingwood by Benjamin Moore. Great Thank you! My husband said it’s tricky to mount on the fireplace because he’d have to cut into the stone but maybe I can change his mind. It would free up more living room space too. I do have a larger tv in our bedroom that’s a good idea.

Love the kitty and I like the fire place too.
