I am wondering if I could see pictures of how this type of thing is used in other people's homes. Comments (9)I just Googled "picture rail ceiling-mounted" and it turned up a number of options (lazy_gardens's link didn't work for me, but I suspect it's the same idea). I have a traditional wooden picture rail in my 1911 house, and use fishing line to hang artwork using molding hooks. Comments (6)If the headboard isn't overpowering and a statement in itself, I'd go ahead and put lightweight art above... even though I don't live in earthquake country, I'd be nervous about anything heavy up there. Agree with arcy, I wouldn't want to have anything so low as to be hitting my head on anything over the bed when sitting up in it. So a photo of the bed would be great....See MoreLala
