I did a busy tile in my guest bath remodel and struggled for months and returned many rugs before I settled on good ole fluffy white! Always works!

The tile is super cute. Just get a plain bath math and pull it down off tub when needed. Don’t even leave it on floor.

Fluffy white looks good w your dark vanity contrasting! Everything is too white already in here unfortunately.

I would leave the tile as is if I liked it haha I’m hoping to find a rug to cover it up a bit.

I love your tile. It only looks busy because it’s the only color in the room. You need to paint the walls, or a Different shower curtain.

I agree w the fact that there is too much white- makes the floor the only focal point but Figuring out Paint color is a while other challenge ! I tried a few different shower curtains- darker grey etc but any design or multiple color combo felt so busy

I also like the fluffy white rugs. We needed some for our bathroom and I had a difficult time finding one large enough for one area of the bath. I ended up purchasing 2 smaller ones and sewed them together. It looks great and you would never know. So don’t let size get a deterrent.

I also love your tile and the direction you are going. have you thought about a white shower curtain with blue trim and/or a solid blue rug?

I think you need more blue in there. Maybe a blue glass soap dispenser for hand soap? Blue frame for botanical prints? Blue plant pots?

Yes, more blue. I think if you switched out the shower curtain for a blue one that it would help to tame down the floor.

OTOH, how long has the tile been in place? Maybe just some adjustment time is more what you need?

I love your tile! I agree with others to add more blue, perhaps a navy shower curtain and a mirror with a blue frame. I'd stay away from a jute rug since they're uncomfortable under bare feet. Honestly, I don't think you need a rug at all but that's because I like the tile.

I think it’s gorgeous. Add your wall accessories before you spend money on a new curtain or a rug - that might be all you need to balance things out.

You might consider a white shower curtain, then taking a cue from the blue in the tiles and painting the walls a dark blue.

You don't want to stand on a jute rug in your bare feet, so I'd stick with something comfy. I also think the floor looks great, so I'd give yourself time, and add some decor to balance, rather than trying to "cover it up."

I wonder if part of why you feel like the tile looks to "worn" is because everything else in the bathroom is such a crisp white. Have you considered painting the walls?

Totally agree w the crisp white wall issue- just don’t have the capacity to paint the walls right now so ideally we would be able to make it work w shelving, rug etc

Patterns are a little limited, but I love the eco friendly cotton rugs at Hook and Loom. I have this one in taupe/white in my master bathroom.

So easy. Washer/dryer - perfect. I lay back down very slightly damp so its always totally flat. It's certainly solved the issue of spray products buildup on the floor ;0)

I'd paint - perhaps Hale Navy - and get a white spa type shower curtain. I love the tile and would not put down a rug.
