If the natural light entering this room comes from the north it will tint pale colors blue. Daylight bulbs give off blue light too. You can't do anything about natural light, but you can switch out bulbs with a color temperature of 6000K or higher with warm white bulbs that have a color temperature below 3000K and give off a yellowish light. The color temperature number should be either on the package or the bulb.

Your problem illustrates why it is recommended one buy a sample of the preferred color and try it on at least two walls for several days before committing to the entire job. The color of paint chips can be influenced by the lighting in the store, and they are just so small. The online virtual paint programs show neutral lighting, plus your monitor can produce variations in color. Even a large expanse of lawn can affect pale tones.

Crushed ice, can have a bluish look, so probably was not the gray you should have used. Gray is hard. It took 3 tries in my living room, even with color samples put around on all the walls. Once I would get it up, it would turn greenish. I wouldnt mind bluish, but, really disliked the greenish. The third time was a winner. It is a valspar paint and is called London Fog.
