I have on olive drab shorts and a navy blue pull over top and navy blue tennies. No special plans. Staying home and cooking for Jody and me.

I'm currently wearing my pink (PINK!!) jammies, drinking hot tea and watching the Thanksgiving Day parade. When I finish my tea, I'm going to take a shower and put on an old pair of jeans and a sweatshirt because I will be going out to shovel more snow. I'm trying to dig my car out for a dental appt on Monday. After that, I may change into something a bit nicer like a pair of jeans and a sweater.

I will be wearing my big snow boots while shoveling. They have super aggressive looking tread, but are the slipperiest boots I've ever had. I've fallen at least three times while wearing them. They are super warm, but I had to buy a pair of those ice gripper thingies to slip over the boots while wearing them. Stupid, expensive Sorrels! When I come back in the house, I will change into my flip flops.

I wish I had a shirt that said "leftover are for QuITTERS!" and I also wish I had a pair of pumpkin pie earrings. ;-)

On my Thanksgiving here in Canada I wore a black velvet skirt a long dull silver grey robe and a white shirt shot through with silver threads. I wanted to dress up and practice for Christmas. :-)

For my slippery boots I rough them up with sandpaper or rub them on roughened concrete. You have to rinse and repeat but it does work in a pinch. I walk dogs and so I have to have no slip shoes and can't always have ice grippers on. Although I do wear them a lot.

Good tip, yeonassky. I'll file that away for future reference. I know what you mean about not always being able to wear the ice grippers. I can only imagine what they'd do to a hardwood floor. I always take my boots off before coming inside.

Your Thanksgiving outfit sounds very pretty and elegant. I like getting dressed up now and then.

It's just DH and me, and it's cold and dreary out today. I have on flannel pajama bottoms with cats and a t-shirt. Hopefully I don't need to go outside today at all.

I'm wearing my holiday apron, that my sister gave to me one year. I just ironed it yesterday - the apron strings get very wrinkled in the wash, as well as the hidden pockets.

Old T-shirt with no bra, old worn jeans, slippers. Might put on something nicer when we have dinner. It will depend on my mood. It is just the 3 of us.

I have on reddish orangeish capris and a multi color top with short sleeves. The top has the exact same color as the capris in the mix. I chose it strictly because it was cool and very comfortable! My apron covers most of it anyway.

I'm wearing sweats. mixed colors - navy bottoms, aqua top. old ones. I'm home alone with my sweet furgirl.

I think the brand name was something like Secura. thing is I only remember searching BF sales for the IP and IP accessories. but then, there were many odd things on those pages that weren't related to the IP.

Black sweat pants, black sweater, white t shirt, falling apart clogs. Will fix my hair and put on nicer clothes for dinner at around six.

I am in Albuquerque. It is cold, and white. I am wearing my fleece lined long pants, and an alpaca pull over.. just to be warm.

But this is my second outfit for the day. We went sledding this morning. Yep, sledding. Good thing, I didn't need to go anywhere in my own car.

I'm wearing Adidas 3-stripes pants, T-shirt, Asics running shoes. My black onyx 14K earring studs & little split shank 18K emerald pinky ring.

I'm wearing red sweat pants and matching red sweatshirt. It's only in the low 60's and for me that is cold.

I've now changed from the pink jammies and am wearing a pair of jeans and a pink and gray striped 3/4 sleeve cotton knit shirt. My wool socks are also have pink and gray stripes. My earrings are multi-faceted crystal studs that reflect the light like a prism.

Right now I have black sweats and a pink turtle neck on. Don't know what I will wear to DD's for dinner. I suspect whatever fits over the ice pack on my knee. :-))))

Jeans and a shirt, we don't dress up for Thanksgiving. We tend to dress nicer for Christmas but not overboard.

Right now? My soft, light weight, super comfortable, $9.97 Walmart lounge pants and a long sleeve t-shirt. Cats are in the cellar with their suppers and warm beds, and I'm all settled in for the evening watching the Dr. Pol marathon. Only thing missing - a big bag of potato chips! :( I forgot to get some yesterday and didn't feel like making a trip downtown today. Not sure if the drive-thru is even open.

Had fried chicken, dressing, gr.bean cass., noodles, and pumpkin pie around noon. The gravy was a big fail, but no msh.taters so that's ok. And I wasn't thrilled with the noodles. I had a bag in the cupboard for some time that needed cooked. However, nothing beats homemade noodles so next year I'll try to do that. Had all the leftovers put away and dishes done by 1pm.

Fuzzy warm stuff, heavy socks, woolie things. Our specialty fancy impossibly expensive 6 yr old hot water heater that feeds the downstairs hydronic heat and our house hold hot water went out is dramatic fashion around 4:30 Tuesday am-water all over. A good thing I had to go to the bathroom. So no heat in our family room etc. Fortunately upstairs is electric forced air but it is up stairs. So with NO hot water Thanksgiving is on hold. Plumbers hopefully Monday (!) to replace our old heater with a new on demand Combo unite. Much Money. We could go to Europe instead. We have a space heater which takes the chill off. Pray our power doesn't go out before this is fixed. The residual heat in the floor kept us comfortable yesterday. Oh well.

So I am thankful this didn't happen when we went to town as planned on Tuesday.

Dawn - my DS's girlfriend at the time several years ago worked in a shoe store, and she mentioned that Sorrels used to be very high in quality, but this changed when the company producing them was sold.

Friends gathered here this year, which was nice. I'm wearing jeans, tennies, and my Life is Good shirt that says ... Grateful. I've worn this for seven or eight Thanksgivings now.

OK - back in the dark ages when there was no such thing as caller ID, if some stranger asked me that on the phone I hung up. LOL! Anyway, that's the first thing that came to my mind when I read this post.

But, if you must know, I live in Central FL and right now at 6:47 p.m. I am wearing one of those really cheap, flimsy gauzy tie-died short cotton dresses from the flea market that come from India and are always like 3 for $25 because they are trying to go out of business because they bought too many and thought they were going to make a lot of money but they didn't, and they want to just get out of there. And a pair of shorts. They are extremely comfortable for at-home Florida and they are usually 1 size fits all and they are very colorful.

Everyone went home and the last load is in the dishwasher. I have my "baby it's cold outside" penguin PJs on.

Was at work today so black jeans (even though we aren't supposed to wear jeans...I work in a dungeon, I mean, basement so who cares?), black and red sweater and tennis shoes, and a thin green sweater over top because it's always cold in the dungeon.

I am posted up in bed watching TV and cking out the KT on my tablet. Wearing my caftan now. Just DH, one of my brothers and me today. Kids and my sweet baby love granddaughter Chase won't be home till tomorrow. I can't wait!

Skinny jeans, motorcycle boots and a long sleeved navy tee with a horse galloping through lighting on it. We joined DD and family and my our of state niece's family for an early dinner at a restaurant. Our family doesn't dress up for Thanksgiving. Clean clothes, without holes works for us.

Green sweatshirt, blue jeans, white socks, and underwear.

Dark brown Liz pants, light tan cashmere turtle neck, tan ugg boots, ivory long GAP sweater with big brown buttons and a brown patterned silk scarf. The other two ladies were more casual.

Anglo, I am glad to hear you enjoyed the meal your daughter planned. I had hoped you would go and enjoy yourself.
