Comments (1090)Yes. If you haven't already figured this out, there are numbers of how-to-do-it posts here starting with the "Featured Answer" at the top of this thread. Because Houzz displays only part of the Featured Answer, you want to click on the faint "read more" line to get Houzz to display the rest of that detailed post by Luna123456. Also, there are something like 1.1k additional posts in this thread, most of which are not initially displayed. On my computer, I have to display all the posts before I can do a full search of the thread. Houzz makes you look below the "Featured Answer" to find the fine print which currently reads "see 1037 more comments." You may have to click a "See more comments" several times to get Houzz to display all of the posts. Then you can do a terms search (CTRL-F calls up a search box on MS Windows computers.) That will get you the posts with recommendations on specific brands of detergents and oxy liquids to use with DIY refilling....See MoreCan the Miele W1/ T1 be stacked on top of a pedestal?
Comments (1)I doubt that the Miele residential-grade pedestals were designed to hold both the washer and dryer in a stack. Miele makes heavy duty stands for their commercial grade laundry equipment. You may try contacting them to see if there is anything there suitable with a few modifications (i.e. drill new holes, and add appropriate brackets to fasten the washer feet to the stand, etc.)....See MoreScratch and Dent Miele W1/T1 ?
Comments (8)If your buying from a dealer have them sell you an extended warranty. The only concern with missing shipping struts is that if the drum is banged around enough in transporting the washer it can be damaged. This can cause the drum to be out of round. Spins may not work properly or cause a lot of shaking/vibration. That said, it would need to be a pretty rough ride to damage the drum. I have bought scratch and dent appliances in the past and been pretty happy. If the washer and dryer were used already then I would not purchase without a warranty or being able to see the washer successfully do a high speed spin. If either of those options or both are available then you would have a great deal....See MoreMiele W1 T1, which model do I choose? Help!
Comments (2)Main reason to go with the WWF060 over the WWB020 is if you want the extra cycles that are offered. I would recommend downloading the manuals for both to make sure you get the model that has everything you need. Personally I would go with the WWF060 because it offers a separate rinse cycle, this is great if you have any soap left in your clothes and you just want to run two rinses and spin quickly after. The other thing on the WWB020 is under extra options for a cycle, there is no option to add another (3rd) rinse or any option to set 'maximum rinse level' for extra water in the rinse cycle. Also minor, but WWB020 doesn't list a light in the drum. Spin speed on WWF060 can go up to 1600rpm (so clothes will dry faster), on WWB020 it's 1400rpm. On the dryer, differences are a little less drastic. On the TWF160 you'll get the better interface, extra cycles, WiFi and it supports a basket as an accessory....See MoreSammy
