New landscaping put in 1 month ago, what do I need to do to protect?

We had new landscaping put in just over 30 days ago and had our first light frost last night. I didn't think I would need to do anything for the frost as temps were predicted to stay around 39 but this got me thinking if whether or not I need to do anything for these plants to protect from heavier frost and the winter temps.

Everything faces south and gets full sun throughout the better part of the day, when we have sun in NW Ohio.

Black mulch, red brick facade on the home tends to keep things a little warmer as well.

The plants installed in order of concern:

Endless Summer Hydrangea

Fine wine weigela

Spilled win weigela

Mr Bowling ball arborvitae

Spiral Juniper

I have found conflicting information that says do nothing, to shield with burlap or cover with leaves inside of chicken wire.

Any suggestions?
