Just updated to a new phone...problem

It is a Note 10+ and when I try to type a reply to a posting, it back spaces (deleting the entire previous word) every time I hit the space bar. But now when I am writing this post it seems to work fine. Has anyone else has this problem?

This may be at Houzz problem. When I am in home decorating discussions forum my words disappear when I type them.

It does not happen on any of the other places that I post here. I'm sorry to say that many of the problems that I have had since Houzz took over have never been resolved. I'm sorry to say that I'm not sure any of the problems I have here ever will be resolved.

On my PC however I can post to home decorating discussions and I can make a new post to home decorating conversations. It seems to have a lot to do with our phone interfaces. At least for me.

That started happening in comments on my old Android after the last Houzz “uplate”, and continues with my new Android. Very frustrating. I can, however, sometimes submit a single image or a single word In a comment.

Yea, that's kind of what I thought, and I don't really have time right now to sit down and research what his Rx is. I did move some soil away from the trunk of that one tree, and in the next couple weeks I'll "cage" the trunks just to be on the safe side in case it is varmit damage. He was really informative and a pleasure to talk to, don't mind spending money on that kind of treatment. I really would like another small red laceleaf for the particular spot the deadwood is in (it really is perfect for the design) but he suggested not planting another one there but said I could go the plant-it-in-a-decorative-pot route. I may to that and haul it in the garage over the winter. English Gardens has 50% their pottery this weekend, they've got some really nice pots (and BIG ones), so I'll see what I can come up with.

wow, this box was really organized quite nicely, i might add. it made me evaluate my seed storage system, so now i've copied carol's method and alphabetized my own stash. mudmom, how cute. there was this plastic foot filled with bath gel. pretty neat. unfortunately, my son saw it, liked the novelty of it and claimed it as his own! i have to get this boy involved in some kind of swap because he's always snatching my stuff. i took out the 4 or 5 loose tea bags and added some of my own, together with some coffee and hot chocolate and several foot soaks. hopefully the next in line enjoys them. the box is all taped up and i covered it in brown paper as it's a sad looking box and it's on it's way to luna (janell). i'll post the confirmation number tomorrow after i return from the post office. want to make sure i get there at the right time as i have 8 packages going out at once. thanks for the chance to participate in this one. and carol, again thanks for the kick in the butt to get myself organized. have a nice sunday everyone.

Ok, girls. I'll work on the first one to make it more as you wish. :) We'll see how it comes out in the long run. Heh. Dirt... THANK YOU for commenting on the box! I totally missed the groupings! They got buried under all the posts during my sleepy reading yesterday!!! Yes, my info sheet is correct from OBF. If you got the latest email where we updated our wants/likes then you'll have a better idea of where I'm at in my gardening life. If not, the old one is pretty accurate. Have you checked all your settings yet? There might be a command set up to do what you're describing.

I have some issues when trying to correct comments on my older Android, but not on my newish Samsung. When I try to delete something, it gets replaced with chunks of other words in the post. I'm not very active on any other discussion boards - other than Facebook, and I don't do a lot of emailing from my phone, so I'm not sure if it's true for everywhere or just here.

If I follow a link in an email notification and try to post a reply from my phone I get the deleting letters. But if I go to the same thread through my bookmarks I can post a reply.

Yes, the same thing happens to me when I try to type on my Android. Irritating!

Are the above mentioned problems with Androids only on Houzz/GW?

Mine are definitely only happening on this website.

Houzz I think might be wanting us all to go through it to post anywhere on its website. I prefer GW for its general user-friendliness and people friendliness too. I think we might be dragged into the Houzz website.

Kicking and screaming in my case though.

I am using an Android phone.
