The robin landed on my front step while I was at basketball games this morning! Wow she is so full! I'm just starting to go through it. There is so much to choose from! I will be out of town for my son's swim meet Monday, but I will get her flying again first thing Tuesday. I will post as soon as I do.

The #2 robin landed at my place this morning. Hope she can fly out of here tomorrow.

Hi, I posted this morning. I must have got it in the wrong place. Don't see it. I sent the robin free this morning. She went to Karen in Ok. Hope that is the right one. Sounds like you are sending it to the right place to me. I will be anxiously awaiting it. I have a mail lady also so I don't think the shaved legs will work but maybe if I put out a couple of chocolate brownies in the mailbox it will do the trick.

By the way, how do you guys add the cute little pictures on your messages?

I think that we'd have to go bottom to top. If we keep it in the same order then the people we are mailing it to will end up getting a lot of the same seeds we put in last time for trades.

Or, you could mix up the two groups. Like, take all the odd numbered people from group 1 and switch them with all the odd numbered people in group 2.

Ok more feedback please, majority rules for robin order.

Robin #1 has arrived here. It's almost like a jack-in-the-box, the way it just wants to pop open because it's so full. I like that alpha sorting in there. Makes it all so neat!

I see the spandex worked. only two people left then home and off to round two, need more feedback on the order wanted.

I'm game for anything on round 2. I do like the idea of mixing up the groups. What about the relaxing theme? Will this stay the same or do we come up with a new one? Now that we are all relaxed and rested do we need a jolt of coffee so we can get going and get our seeds planted?

I'm up for anything, this has been a great group to play with!

Robin #2 has landed here and it is a very heavy bird. I am going to have to pull out my plant encyclopedia and look up some of the seeds to see what they are. What a nice selection.
Also MargeC sent the cutest little foot lotion set. It is bottled in little plastic feet. I just love it. Also a whole bag of different types of teas.
I am going to go start tracking down these seed names. I promise I will get the robin back flying on monday. I will post confirmation number when I do.

3041070000254901701. I took out the little foot package (it is so cute) and put in some other foot stuff for the next person. I left in the tea because I am not much of a tea drinker. I took out about 20 packages and put in about the same ammount. I am new to seed collecting this year and don't have a big surplus but next year I am hoping to be better prepared. Veeja, I didn't notice that the bags were alphabitized until I started putting my seeds in the package and then I couldn't find a B bag. I have looked all around in case I dropped it somewhere accidentally but so far no luck. I will keep looking and if I find one anywhere I will mail it directly to you. In the meantime, I started a new B baggie. I just wanted to say that I was very impressed with the organization, clear down to mailing labels. It made it all so easy. Thanks

Hi Carol--I agree with Mellen--top to bottom--since we won't have the same box-shouldn't have the same seeds--
Coffee's sound great--but nothing wrong with soaking our feet or bodies after a long day sowing seeds either!
Still like the relaxing theme--Come on everyone--sign up and we will send 'em around one more time--
Carol-maybe you could send a mailing to everyone--some may not be checking here if they have already received and sent the robin--and need a reminder for round two--just a thought!

Hi, Just wanted to be sure I was included in the second flight. I vote for starting with going from bottom to top. That way we are getting seeds from different people. So any seeds I put in can be picked up by someone who wouldn't have had the chance the first time. :o)

It looks like bottom to top wins, so when I get box #1 it will go to zz box 2 will go to Luna moon, if she wants to be in round 2, I will post a list in a couple of days.

Okay, now I KNOW that I'm too tired. I just spent half an hour looking for this thread & it was right there near the top. Robin #1 left here today on her way to the next person. Can anyone explain to me why, when I sign up for different robins at different times, they all decide to land here at about the same time? LOL That isn't very relaxing! It's thrilling, but not relaxing. That tea was needed! Thanks!

Carol, I loved the way you had everything divided alph style. It was SO much easier going through one smaller pack at a time.

Next person on the list (Luna?) - Your "relaxing" part of the package is a little different. There's tea in there, which should be relaxing. I included a "foot soak" of a different sort. When I saw it in the store a few weeks ago, it tickled my funny bone and reminded me of this robin. So, I just had to pick some up and toss it in there. Hope you get a "kick" out of it, too.

wow, this box was really organized quite nicely, i might add. it made me evaluate my seed storage system, so now i've copied carol's method and alphabetized my own stash.

mudmom, how cute. there was this plastic foot filled with bath gel. pretty neat. unfortunately, my son saw it, liked the novelty of it and claimed it as his own! i have to get this boy involved in some kind of swap because he's always snatching my stuff.

i took out the 4 or 5 loose tea bags and added some of my own, together with some coffee and hot chocolate and several foot soaks. hopefully the next in line enjoys them.

the box is all taped up and i covered it in brown paper as it's a sad looking box and it's on it's way to luna (janell).

i'll post the confirmation number tomorrow after i return from the post office. want to make sure i get there at the right time as i have 8 packages going out at once.
