Charlotte, you said to let y'all know what I decided to do. Well, I got some manpower to help so I took advantage and dug up entire garden. HAD TO, due to invasive ginger lilies taking over in back. And as I'd said, all lily bulbs were already out. Or so I thought. Once we started ammending soil, we found even MORE Â again HUGE with lots of roots. Once I break them all up IÂm sure IÂll have over 100+. NO WAY am I going to try to repot all those so am thinking of just replanting them now. Question 1 ÂHostaholic said they are never really dormant so have I harmed the ones I pulled out before by letting they lay for couple weeks in dry, shaded area? They still look fine. IÂm letting the stalks die back naturally on the ones I pulled too early, others are just bulbs with roots, then some smaller ones (corms?) Have I killed any of them by waiting too long? Question 2 - Most of the big bulbs have nice root system. Not going to be able to plant ALL of them, so which is better for planting now? Dividing the big ones or using smaller bulbs but with no roots or does it matter? Question 3 Â Do you just slice them in 1/2 or 1/4's leaving on some root? What about the pieces that fall off that look like artichoke leaves? Will they grow? Question 4 Â Can you interplant in between lilies? Trying to compensate for when theyÂre done blooming but you still have stalks. Need something that can compete with the shade the lily foliage creates. Something that might start blooming late summer into fall? And preferably something tall? (IÂm also going to post this one as a separate question since it doesnÂt really belong here. Thanks all for the comments so far. Let me see if I can respond: teacats - the chairs I bought first because I liked them and they were on sale! This was before we had even started looking at pianos (I originally thought we were just going to have an upright). I can't really return them so I think I have to work with them for now or maybe move them to another room in the future, if possible. I was disappointed in the rug color - it was a lot darker than the picture online. I still might be able to return it but I'm contemplating that one. It's a nice rug. I may be able to use it in the dining room instead. I was unsure on having the backs of the chairs to the door - you think that would work? The room is about 18' long x 13' wide. Your suggested artwork is very nice as well. I'll keep it in mind! pipdog - I thought about the corner by the window as well but that means the lid opens to the wall and its in the light and by the furnace register. The lamps aren't staying - they are just temporary for now! aktillery - thank you for that post. There are some other options to consider there. I need to figure out how to make a floor plan to scale so I can see if the room is big enough to have the piano more toward the center. I'm afraid for the piano by the window. My parents' black piano faded over time because it was right by a huge picture window (and still is) cyn427 - I'm having a hard time visualizing what you mean. The corner to the left as you walk in? Seems like the piano would stick out in front of the door but maybe I'll have to try it. It's only 5' long (it's a baby baby!)

I would never want that many children myself but I have great respect for this family. The children are taught responsibility and family love and that is what is missing in so many homes today. I see nothing wrong with the older ones taking care of the younger ones. Both of my parents came from large families and this technique was used. The siblings grew up close and I have never heard of any resentment expressed by any of my aunts or uncles. In fact, the memories they told intriqued me and made me realize that they had their priorties in order. They did not need or have the frills of today but what they did have, they appreciated and respected. Older children taking care of younger siblings---isn't that how it used to be done years ago and somewhere along the line, families started giving children less and less responsibility. And today, many people do not know how to take care of themselves much less anyone else. I don't think the mother is very often given the credit that she deserves. She homeschools those kids so her time is not just sitting around on her butt while the older children babysit. It also said on one of the programs that the mother exclusively takes care of the baby for several months while baby is still breast feeding. And, it also mentioned that Jennifer, the next to the baby, was just moved from the parents bedroom to the girls room. I just think that the parents are not always given a fair shake and NO, I do not want that many children but this family is not relying on the system to take care of these children so more power to them. The Duggars have income other than the reality show and to me, I have no problem with them earning extra money with the show. I find the values and beliefs they express is a wonderful example when so many families today are dysfunctional.

TOS- First off I was calling him because my grandmother was put in the hospital because of an emergency and I was letting him know that we would be leaving when I picked him up straight from the park to the hospital over an hour away. I never call him EVER! I feel that's his time with his daughter and I have him every other day of the week I do not need to talk to him while he is with her. I do have full right to call him in case of an emergency i.e. family emergency or if I am going into labor. I am not one of those people who would call over and over again apparently like your ex's current wife. I find that rude no matter what, I would simply leave a message and be done with it. As for parenting, I personally think that no mother has the right to deny the father of her child any knowledge in regards to his child especially health. He was there every day while they were married and for a little after the divorce until the Other Man she cheated on him with moved in with her. Then he was never aloud to see his daughter, one excuse after another until it just became an outright NO with no rhyme or reason why. He would ask her to pick up his daughter for a few hours to do something and she would say no, I would have to sit there and hear the heartache in his voice every time to why he couldn't have her. This was after we got together but according to his old roommate is was typical of her to do that, or say he could have her he would drive what was then almost an hour and a half to pick her up only to be turned down at the door. My husband has sensitive skin on his arms and with certain laundry detergent or soaps he will break out very, very badly. He brought it up thinking if it was the same thing maybe it might be just the detergent she was using. That is might also require some topical cream to ease the itching he gets when he use to break out. Come to find out it was heat rash, apparently they don't use the a/c in the house and no a/c in the car because BM smokes. And anyone who lives in Florida knows that's a big deal with the heat and humidity here. TOS my DH loves his daughter very much and tries on a daily basis to be a part of her life but BM at this point doesn't allow for it. Now I am not saying he's perfect and for a while after being denied seeing her for a year he stopped trying and would only call to talk to her on the phone, and if was in the area seeing family he would call to see if he could stop by. There was a Christmas where we dropped off presents at midnight because BM wouldn't let him see his daughter for a little just so she could open them. So yes there was a time when he didn't see her, he got tired of trying and tired of being hurt every day. Finally getting fed up we moved and hour and half away from my family just so we could be near her and to pursue a court ordered visitation she would have to work with. I am not saying this out of anger but out of sympathy but I really wish you could understand that not all fathers are bad and not all SM are out to ruin the lives of there children. I have my moments where I don't know if I can handle the stress and my anger might get the better of me, but that is in regards to his ex not his daughter. But never has his daughter seen me angry because I am never around her, his visitations with his daughter are just that time with her not with me. When she comes to our house I am sure it will be more difficult but I will work through it, I may leave for a few hours to get away. But I will be ok with it because my husband is showing me that he is a great father by being responsible for his daughter and not simply walking away and not looking back. I have no problems with the child support, I think he pays a very reasonable amount even though he differs on that opinion. I just simply remind him how expensive children are to raise and how quickly they need things.
