Get orb hardware as a bit of a nod to the floor. And a creamy white /neutral subway backsplash. It'll be fine . Everything is subtle enough so it works. I thought it looked good at first glance .....the tones may not be perfectly aligned and you are analyzing it but it's really fine .

Your paint, backsplash and your accessory choices will marry this all together.

Notice in the kitchen I posted How the two-tone paint color works with the design. It's not horribly expensive to do the ceiling in a coffer or tray if you have the height.

Maybe paint island a Dove Gray.

From what I've read about color tones, there's this concept of "clean" and "muddy". We've seen the gray and black and white trend: all "clean" colors. They came after the tuscan brown trend: all "muddy" colors. The problem it seems is that someone seemed to try to get away from the tuscan trend by installing the marble white countertops which are a "clean" white against the "muddy" cream cabinets and brown flooring. Since the countertops are more of a "fixed" element, I would paint the cabinets and perhaps cover the flooring? Maybe try a light taupe or greige cabinet color that ties both the "clean" counter and "muddy" floor together? There really is no other solution that I can see.

To avoid adding another color to the mix, I would do the backsplash in the same material as the counters. If that is not acceptable, I would do a simple white-white tile which matches the white of the counters.
