I like the dark floor tile because it matches with the dark glass tile. I think I saw in one of your other posts that your vanity will be a medium wood tone. All the colors would tie in together nicely. The white subway will keep the room looking crisp. Will you have a tub or shower only? I am also deciding on my bathroom tiles. One of my choices is having the same glass tiles like yours, but with glossy taupe colored subway tiles (matching the other glass tile color). I would like to do white subways like you, but we have a rust problem in our water and I'm not sure if I can maintain white grout/tiles. Do you think taupe subways with your glass mosaics would look ok? Or would the colors blend too much. I really like the white tiles you selected....

Sometimes I wish there were fewer choices. I'm sure if there were, I'd be complaining that there aren't enough. :) I'm redoing my hall bath and am using white subways in the tub/shower alcove. After dithering over the color, I chose Daltile Arctic White, semi-gloss, which are plenty glossy. I'm just doing the standard offset layout. I'm not using accent tiles, chair rails, etc. but am going to use 1x6 quarter-round along the perimeter. It's understated, but I think a nice way to finish it off.

Thanks guys for the links. lmfoodie, I dont know if i want to buy glass tiles online just because the color may look different on my monitor than in person. i think i need to see it in person. annanna, looks like yours has a green tone to it. i havent been able to find one that is pure white, yours look very pretty i wish i can have green but unfortunately i dont think green matches well with my countertop.

I just put a bathroom floor (yeah, well, someone else did the work, I just did the pattern!) with 1" hex unglazed in white. When the guy helping me said "I can grout tomorrow" I ran to Home Depot to see what sort of gray grout I could get, and the choices were pretty limited. The recommended-by-Bill in that brand was Platinum, and it would have been a special order. I went with a slightly darker grout and it thankfully dried light. I'll snag a photo when I go up to the house later today and post it, even though it's hex and not subway, if you like. I love the way the soft gray accents the tile, and I would have assumed, prior to the Bill/Mongo/Bath and kitchen forum experience, that I should have done white.
