Warning! Don't surf GW while eating Reese's Cups
Comments (12)Sue, I have a rule not to eat at the computer anymore, just can't seem to control myself. Sharon aka Scotty hmmm...maybe my unexplained weight gain this winter because most all of my eating is done in front of the computer, or else the TV. Even when BF is down on the weekends, we always sit in the living room and the TV is usually on though sometimes muted. My GW seed 'stuff' is all over the dining table and I have been putting off attending to it all. I lost/misplaces a prized pack of seeds I had told some I would share, and I fear going through the rubble on the table for fear I won't find them there....sigh Sue...eating as she types...See MoreWhere to eat while in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores, AL
Comments (4)So far, found Cosmos where they make a Chicken Roulade, described as "twin bacon wrapped chicken breasts stuffed with asparagus & gruyere cheese, lightly sauteed and finished in the oven. Served with our house risotto and a sage & leak cream sauce" in case mom doesn't want seafood. Yea right. And Cobalt where they have a seafood pizza topped with "layers of bay shrimp, scallops, sweet blue crab, bells peppers, onions & asparagus on a saffron crust with three chesse alfredo sauce and fresh grated Parmesan." Yum. Can't wait. As you can see, I'm only through the Cs! And if I wasn't in the mood to eat, I could head a few miles down the road and toss a mullet. "And Perdido Key is the last island in the long chain.. the best beach bar in the Gulf with its myriad activities both inside and out. Jimmy Buffet has been here as have many other big names. The seafood is good and cheap, and the booze couldn't flow faster from a fire hose. While I was sitting on the deck, three people skydived down beside me, and the bartender had their favorite beer waiting for them. Now that's service! Another interesting and rather unusual activity is the annual mullet tossing competition; locals talk about how much fun it is to see how far you can throw a dead fish." Comments (27)I'll say. Reminds me of the brief craze for applying siding diagonally regardless of the style of the house, only done by far better craftsmen. That room seems to want to be nicely introverted and focused on the table and people at it. I frankly don't really like anything beyond the basic room (in spite of liking rag rugs), but if I did nothing else I'd simplify and darken that ceiling and move focus down to the table....See MoreWhat insects other than fire ants play with dirt while eat wood?
