Please help me pick the right size and shape for a coffee table
Comments (9)I love the coziness of your room and your colors. It is bright and looks very inviting. I just purchased a round coffee table ottoman for my home and really love it. I searched and got a deal. I scotch guarded the top to resist any stains. There are so many out there to choose from that are square, oval or round. What I like about mine is the ability to rest your feet on them, hold magazines, phones, or my laptop, and a drink on a book all at the same time. Also, I don't have to dust it or clean it with Windex. Mine has wheels and can roll if needed and one like that on legs would give some visibility to your beautiful rug. It can also hold 250 pounds so it could be used for seating if needed....See Morehelp picking coffee table
Comments (7)I would size it to serve those sitting on the sectional only, not the chair. Make a simple template out of newspaper for sizes you consider. Measure out 18 inches of legroom from the seat front on both sides of the L of the sectional. Do not go past the start of the sofa arm in length. You may find a rectangle or oval works best, or round or square. I would look for a table with an airy or leggy base rather than a solid base, considering the size of your room. A glass top would let your rug be seen. Front feet of your chair & sofa should be on the rug. If you pull it out more you will see more of the central rug pattern too. Try to plan for layered lighting by adding floor lamps or table lamps. Overhead lighting only is not flattering to people, even on dimmers. A round table with a table lamp would work between the sofa and chair, especially if the chair will remain angled. If you choose a floor lamp, consider a C table for the chair person. It needs to be no higher than the chair arm. These type. https://www.pier1.com/c-tables...See Moreplease help me pick out a coffee table!
Comments (11)Not allowed to paint wood wall unfortunately, I’m a renter. I’ve learned to embracing it lol. Who knew finding the right coffee table could be so hard? I need it to be about 17” in height and about 30” in diameter for a round table. So hard to find. I think I’m going to go round because of how square my couch is. Thanks for your ideas, I do appreciate it!...See Morehelp picking a coffee table!
Comments (3)I usually like Noguchi tables for sectionals please get many more panels of drspes for that window and unless you are older no sheers . If you need light control and hest control get solar shades they do both and let you keep the view during the day and at night the proper width drapes will give you privacy....See MoreSara Skiz
