Please provide more information. Where are you growing these plants? What zone or climate are you in? Are these plants indoors or outdoors? Do you know the name of your plants?

I'd say definitely mechanical on the last 2 pics and maybe something cultural in the recent past on #1. As long as things don't progress, you should be OK.

Thank you, Bob! My girlfriend told me it's just cracked itself because of too much "food". This one is my experimental orchid that I planted 2 month ago into ProMix+perlite 50/50. It's still growing, didn't loose even one bloom and growing new roots.

I keep all my plants inside. I am in Columbus, OH.

Looks like something (animal/tool?) took a chunk out of it to me.

I noticed yellow trees today. Autumn's coming

Brutally hot and dry here, I've only mowed once in the last 5 1/2 weeks. The rain keeps missing Vandalia, less than an inch of rain so far in August at my house.
