Please see addressing newbie and newer member issues for instructions on getting your link set up. Since you have nothing to trade at this time, you might want to look for some of the offers made by generous members who have 'excess' seeds to share. Just look for posts that say BEAP, for postage, newbie, SASBE, etc Most will then give you further instructions on sending a bubble envelope, how much return postage is needed, a return address label, your GW name, list, etc. There is more about that also in the link above. Tom, I got my seeds last week...thanks a million!!! ;o) I was calling some of our local nurseries before I received the seeds to see if anyone had a Wafer Ash & I found a tree locally. When I called, the nurseryman said he thought he had one but it wasn't in very good shape & I could have it for free. I said, "YES, I'd LOVE it!" Not realizing that he was referring to a 25 gallon tree! It is almost 8ft tall & looks like "Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree"!!! IT's HUGE!!! It is alive & he said that it has been in the pot way too long. It had a year on the pot of 2006. It also had a price of $225 marked out to $50...I can't believe he gave it to me!!! What a blessing! I took it home last Thusday thinking I could get it in the ground this weekend & it has now been raining for 4 days straight! Maybe this week some time, I can play "hooky" from my work & I can get it planted...it's supposed to rain next weekend, too! I have a BIG hole to dig...LOL!!!! Jonocross, yea.. I've deff heard of Marion. I forget exactly where it's at but I know my family and I have been there before. Pretty small town, isn't it? ... but then again, that sums up a lot of places in Ohio! haha Anyways, I actually didn't get any. I'm trying to find some so I can start plants and then see if I can find out how to get them from the plants. But currently, I do not have any seeds. However, if you were going to try planting them, I bought this 28 pot watering system that Menards (A store like lowes) here had mismarked and I got it for 99 cents. Couldn't beat the price so I got it. Anyway, on the instructions on it it says to use some premium potting soil and for best results, to mist the soil every day, to put some water in the tray and after 45 min, drain out the water that is still in there, and to also have it covered over with plastic. I am doing everything but covering it with plastic. I have seeds in 26 of the 28 pots... hoping things will start coming up in a week or two as I just planted them 6 days ago. nealzibub - an SASBE is a sefl addressed stamped bubble envelope. I have thought about buying some on online.. and was looking on ebay, but I am weary about buying them from ebay anymore because I was buying some rose seeds and the person selling them took my money and never shipped anything... and ebay won't do anything about it. I think I will probably look at company sites as you suggested and hopefully find some that I really like. Thanks for the info! Matt
