How big is the t v? Would it fit in the niche next to fireplace?

In my similar layout living room with double doors ways on three walls and fire and Windows on the fourth the best thing I ever did was to replace my large tv with a small on placed on the fireplace on its stand. It does not hurt my neck at all for it is not that high because it is small. It also fits scale wise. Put your 62 inch in a man cave and go smaller and try it in the niche or over the fireplace.

Is it possible to provide dimensions for your room?

If the wall is large enough to support the TV, this might be an option

IMO beverly has the perfect place for it if there is enough space , whaen posting a floor plan always give the measurements on the drawing.

I'll second the articulating mount for above the fireplace. It's your best solution IMO. Pull it down to watch TV and push it back up when you're done.

I have my tv over my fireplace and I've found it very comfortable to watch. But we have it mounted low and angled downward, and our seating area is ~14 feet back so the angle isn't at all uncomfortable.

Without seeing a pic of your actual space with measurements (how deep is that living room?) it's hard to know if your seating area will be far enough back to be comfortable without an articulating mount - but I can promise you such a mount eliminates any potential problems.

Well the BIG question is if there is enough space to turn the sofa and add the two chairs and we don't know that for sure.
