Do you like your chandelier in your bathroom?
Comments (6)i put a chandy in our master bath and i love it! looks elegant... the chandy i chose is a 5 arm chandy...didn't even think about the odd # of lights when i chose it and i understand what your friend means by 'lopsided' (although i don't think i've seen any 3 armed, the issue partially is the odd # i think...)-- every once in awhile, depending on the angle i look at our light it does look slightly off kilter...but only from cerain angles.....but i'm used to a 6 arm in the kitchen and an 8 arm in the dining room, so maybe it depends on what you're used to seeing......See MoreWhat kind of window coverings do you have in your bathroom?
Comments (6)That's a good question. I guess I need to go over to the neighbor's house and look into my bathroom window from their upstairs hall window. (We live in a close-in, first subrurb of NYC, so houses are close together here.) I should also mention that the bathroom has white subway tile and a marble basketweave floor -- I am trying to achieve a 1920s style....See MoreDo you have chrome and brushed nickel in your bathroom?
Comments (13)We aren't doing a full remodel so the tub and shower plumbing isn't being changed. That is chrome. I love the shower head and afraid new ones wouldn't provide as good a shower. Lighting is already purchased and that is brushed nickel. The sink faucet, accessories, and vanity hardware will be replaced. Also a quartz top (Viatera Minuet or similar) and new sink. I thought chrome for faucets is a more durable finish. So right now if I go brushed nickel with everything new, the tub shower will still be chrome. The other thought was just plumbing in chrome and all else brushed nickel. Those are the 2 options I am thinking but open to more ideas and feedback on these. Thanks....See MoreDo you have a chair in your bathroom?
Comments (18)Lynn, that sweet chair is a work of art for sure! I can see why you enjoy sitting in that spot. Roarah, your bench must come in very handy. There are just so many little beauty rituals that we best accomplish seated! I love your sink, by the way. Lars, I think having a seat in the shower is a real luxury. Wish I had room in mine for a bench like yours. Here's mine. I perch here daily to put on or take off shoes. My young nephew recently asked me why I had a chair in this room. "You actually sit in your bathroom??" Yes, child. Yes I do....See MoreCorinne Masterson
