Orchids from Trader Joe's are inexpensive enough to be treated like longlasting cut flowers.........enjoy them in bloom for as long as they provide it and then toss 'em!! Yes, some species do rebloom relatively easily when grown indoors but others require more manipulation than the average non-orchidist is prepared to provide.......or knows how to! Where else can one find flowers that last for 2-3 months (or longer) for less than $20??

There are other Torenia forms where the flower color fades as the still open flowers age, that is probably what is happening in this case also. All the more so because the structure of the specimen shown looks to be that of a single plant, with all of the evenly distributed stems coming from the same very small base.

looks like a florist conglomeration of plants that may not thrive together ... with the netting.. i cant tell if its in a pot that drains ... my impression is that you have a plant that might not mind it somewhat dry .. the palm ... and others that will like it wetter ... if my guess is correct.. you might want to break it apart and repot towards the goal of matching plants with needs ... and if in fact it is a florist plant ... it might easily come apart ... since they may have just jammed it altogether for sale ... rather recently ... ken
