Comments (43)I am not familiar with tung oil at all. Our chairs are RH natural and we left as is…they have darkened since purchase and are not as dark as table. I tried to do a quick search for the techniques and did not find the one i had previously seen. I am pretty sure it was on pinterest. A few of the techniques were a bit too labor intensive for me. Comments (2)Your suggestions are only making a bad situation worse. Instead of reusing misplaced electrical outlets, move them; it's not that difficult. Use recessed ceiling fixtures instead of sconces, surface mounted and pendant fixtures. You shouldn't see the lighting in a kitchen. If there is a hood over the stove, an overhead light would only be blocked and reflected by the hood. But the first thing I would do is redesign the kitchen even if it meant some new or reconfigured cabinets. Comments (6)99% of the time no you will not be able to salvage the tile. I’ve had one job where the tiles all came off cleanly due to a weird install technique. If they are properly bonded you have almost no chance of success. You could build new cabinets into the existing frames I guess, or remove it section by section and install ikea cabinets flush to the underside? Cabinet technology has gotten so much better over the last 50 years I wouldn’t want to be tied to the old layout....See Morehartcm08
