Comments (12)We're having a roast beef hash with lots of mushrooms and potatoes stuffed into red bell peppers and baked with mushroom sauce. Possibly an odd dish, but I had the peppers, a few slices of beef, and lots and lots of mushrooms to use up before shopping day tomorrow. Comments (17)rhizo, I sprinkled some dry ranch dressing on pork chops and roasted them in the oven at 450. The chops were juicy and tasty. I went easy on the dressing but will press more on each pork chop next time. I used almost one packet of dressing. I did not add the salt called for in the recipe, The dressing mix has quite enough sodium. I don't usually cook with processed products but I made an exception. Comments (20)I made some salmon cakes and a big, colorful salad. Robert had his on a crunchy bun; I put mine on the salad. I tried a new Louisiana style remoulade sauce which turned out so great! I make my patties with canned salmon, finely chopped onion, celery, and green pepper, an egg, a couple of tablespoons of mayo, same of panko, and one tablespoon of coarse corn meal. It's a gloppy mess before being cooked but soon turns into a perfect patty with a browned, crunchy crust. Comments (16)I put chicken legs and boneless thighs in the crock pot this morning with BBQ sauce and had egg noodles, brussel sprouts and the always applesauce . We just recently had ham bbq so I was surprised the kids ask for bbq chicken. well at least they wanted something easy Lol. I don't know what I'm having tomorrow maybe fish. I also want to make apple slab pie.I seen it over in cooking and it looks yummy. I'm actually headed over there in a few to learn how to make pie crust. I ddon't like to cook, but I have to so I try to do it well. I just could never make a decent crust. I hope thats about to change. LOL...See More
