I think your bathroom looks very pretty so far and I like your countertop choice. I don’t see a pink tone on my monitor. Is it possible that the lighting in your room is not upgraded to daylight LEDs? That makes a huge difference. Before you judge paint samples, make sure your lighting is already installed because paint will look really different in different lighting.

I’m sorry I don’t have a specific color suggestion except to say that it helped me to think of my favorite colors, and then to pick a very light gray or griege that had my favorite colors as undertones. My favorite colors are green and blue. But for paint colors I don’t want bold greens and blues all over. For example in my bedroom, I chose SW Silverpointe which is a very light gray that has a green undertone. For my family room I chose SW Monorail Silver, which is a light gray with a blue undertone.

Make sure your lighting is all installed and then bring a few paint samples home. Good luck!!

I only see pink on the wall, I don't see it in your floor tiles on my monitor. I like your choices, looks great so far. Assess the lighting for sure and maybe a good coat of white primer on the walls after your fixtures and counters are in place. Then you can accurately pick your wall color.

I had not considered the lighting and hope that will solve the pink undertone. Worst case scenario, I can always throw a large bath rug on the floor. The painters are coming tomorrow so I have to pick a color first thing in the morning. I'm going to look at SW Monorail Silver and Passive.

I would wait for paint selection untl all the other elements are in and the lighting is as mentioned daylight LEDs in 4000K range. I have to say texture tiles in a shower are not a good idea but too late now I guess.

I had initially considered the wavy tile and thought the same thing - it will be hard to clean. I then picked white subway tile 4x16 with grey penny rounds as the accent. I was not sold on the grey penny rounds and I went out looking for other options. Somewhere in that trip, my teenage daughter convinced me that wavy tile and blue glass is the way to go. LOL. She really loved the look and I was sold on her enthusiasm. Its definitely too late now. I am learning some hard lessons that I shall not repeat when I do the master bath next.

After every shower rinse the walls, use a squeegee on the shower walls, followed up with a wipe down with a towel. It sounds like a pain, but will keep your tile looking nice with minimal cleaning products needed. Wipe down the fixtures with the towel too. I do this after every shower (DH not so much!) in the master shower, but I can barely get my teen DS to squeegee the glass door in his shower ...

Thank you for all your feedback! The tiles were grouted today, the protective bathtub cover was removed and everything is looking 1,000% better. I'm so relieved. I bought a few sample paints and it looks like SW Passive is the winner. I will share pictures when the transformation is complete. Thanks again!
