Since it's a walkway, I would put a very slim console table there with a tray or bowl to collect keys, not centered, but closer to the corner rather than the stairs. You may be able to hang a group of art there, but it will be tricky with the location of that control pad. An interesting sconce or vertical mirror might work over the table.

hello, we're looking for decor ideas/feedback. A few ideas we currently had are: -one long floating shelf above the couch between the lamps, or 2-3 shelves at different elevations. probably a natural wood colour. probably fill the shelves with white and black decor, and some small plants -large abstract painting above the couch on the opposite wall. However we're unsure of what colours to use -large circular mirror above accent table. There is already a large floor mirror straight across from this table, would that be too many mirrors? Ranch house. Florida. Older established neighborhood but many houses have been re painted and remodeled with younger family’s that have moved in. Brownish roof. Need color advice from Behr paint. Entry decor ideas would be appreciated.

I would put a colorful runner in the entryway hall. I have one in an extra wide hall that looks great with the flooring. I’d also add some art which picks up colors from rug. I personally not too big on mirrors unless there is appropriate reflection - nice sunlight or great view. But end of halls is a common placement. Make sure it is ample size.
