great deal on tub.....ok, that should be 'steal' not deal. kohler
Comments (16)Yes, they included the plumbing fixtures as well. It's all set to be installed. I just need to get the pieces necesarry for adding a shower with it. This is my only bathroom at the cottage and while a tub is great, a shower is a necessity! I did see that the feet were another $1700!! That's insane. What I think happened is that the owners donated it to the church so they could take the tax donation then it was the church selling it either through their rummage sale or via craigslist. I happened to find it on craigs list and had no idea what I was really looking at. I had no idea bathtubs could be so insanely expensive. I've never redecorated a house before so I was totally clueless. Susan...See MoreI Got Some Good Deals Today!
Comments (7)I scan Craigslist for garage sales daily. Some are great. Some are not. Craigs allows the person to list almost all the items they are selling and you can get a "feel" for a sale before driving all the way to get to it. I have found that if they list a lot of baby clothes and toys they are not going to have a lot of furniture and housewares or any 'collectibles'. I never find my size in clothing at a garage sale. I have great luck finding clothing at Goodwill though....See MoreScored on a great deal the other night!
Comments (10)Hi aprilflower, It really does one's heart good to find a bargain, doesn't it? To quote a well-known authority " ... there was mop & glo buildup, but after that it was a breeze!" If you'd waited till Feruary ...would that have been a Feb-reeze? But don't try raising April flowers anywhere near this area in February, except inside - they'd get pretty badly frozen. Good wishes for having a breeze with your new machine. ole joyful...See MoreWhat deals have you scored lately?
Comments (46)I love your desk and chair, Raven! Looks like almost everyone is getting some really good deals, that's great. I'm not doing any shopping other than the basic necessities, like groceries. But I did get a good deal on some canned soups, thanks to someone here! I'd like to thank her for telling about Walmart's "Savings Catcher" app, but I don't remember who it was that posted it. Anyhow, I like to keep canned soups on hand during the cold winter months, and I had picked up 6 cans in Walmart. The only other grocery store we have had them on sale for $1.00 a can, (I wasn't even aware of their sale) so Walmart refunded $1.29 each for the 6 cans! Rusty...See MoreGardenHo_MI_Z5
