I walked to a mall down the street today. One store had tank tops buy one get one free so I got four. In another store I picked up a cute summer dress on sale for 100 baht which is about $3.00 in American money. They had three others in different colors; i may go back and get another one or two or three.

My new appliances. They were delivered on Saturday. I decided to take a gander at bestbuy.com which is where I purchased them. All of them were on sale for Presidents’ Day. I called Best Buy yesterday. They price matched me and I got $225.00 back!!

I saved a couple dollars last week on Amazon. What’s frustrating is they don’t price match. The customer service lady said just return the expensive item and buy the one on sale. So I did.

"Motion Brite Lights" at CVS and Dollar General on their "As seen on TV" shelves. They are battery led strip lights like 8" long, stick them up in dark cabinets, they come on when you open the door or put your hand in to find something. $9.99! I bought two for under my sink cabinet, then had to run around to find two more as they were sold out at CVS (both area stores). Found two at Dollar Gen. LOL!

Beautiful coat, but it was way too small--a surprise, since I've always had good luck ordering from Sierra. Instead of returning it immediately, I asked my daughter-in-law to try it on. She's three sizes smaller than I, and it fit her perfectly. I gave it to her. It looks great, and she loves it.

I had bought my beloved kitchen aid duel fuel range at best buy in their discounted area. It had a little scratch on the side which would not be seen once installed. I miss it.

OH I forgot we went to goodwill and I found a pair of knee high black leather motorcycle style boots. Brand new never worn in my size! I got them for $5! I haven't worn boots in years but I will now.

Not a darn thing. I did take four bags of nice items to the thrift shop, so someone else can get a score. I'm also shopping for a new desk but will never get a deal like that, Raven. I found one on line that I will order but by the time I pay taxes, delivery and set up, it will cost me $1000. Yikes.

I got one chair and the desk. We plugged in the freezer and it is freezing! We knew it worked because she had food in it.

Finding these deals is essential for us right now. Man it is expensive getting everything needed for a household.

My neighbor came over today and dug up all my flower bulbs at the old house to plant here. I was not going to leave them. Unfortunately many are not up yet so we didn't know where to dig but we got everything that was showing.

I need to get involved in a bulb swap only I don't have any to share lol.

Bought a pair of Lewis jeans last week at Walmart. They were on the sales rack, but I was still surprised when they rang up at just 3 dollars.

I got a 6 qt. Instant Pot for $41!! It retails for around $145. It was on sale for $109 at Kohl's. I got 20% off, an additional 10% off and then I had a $50 gift card!!

MM, your meals look great. I have enjoyed my IP too. Tried some chicken legs for the Super Bowl and they were great. Browned them for a few minutes on parchment paper in the oven after they were done. Perfect. And love making dried beans, oatmeal and eggs.

My deal was a new pair of Ecco leather booties made like sneakers. Found them at Nordstrom this weekend in Atlanta for a steal. So comfy!

No deals here. I've been on a cast-iron fix lately, and would love to add to the 2 skillets that I have, but it's expensive.

Apparently some walmarts sell boxed sets of 3 skillets for $11!! I'm craving a chicken fryer which can also be used as a small dutch oven, and a Lodge loaf pan for bread. But they're $40 each online, with shipping. Oh well, I'll just live vicariously through other people's deals and food.

Raven a used pair of those boots just sold for $65.00 on my county buy and sell.so you sure got a deal. Love the desk and chairs. I didn’t ge any bargains , but I know I saved two or three hundred, as we are having a cold spell , with some snow ,so I ordered on line instead of going to Costco, and Wallmart.

Not much and sure not a new leather boot for $5! At our thrift shop you could maybe find a completely worn out pair for $5 that look like they are ready for the trash can! UGH! Our store would have been selling those for $50...seriously!

I did find a YETI at Marc's for only $5.99. It's a genuine YETI and of course, new. I also found a smaller 20 oz tumbler at Gabe's for a dollar, it was a Christmas design but doesn't look all that Christmasy, it's blue with a snow flake on the side. It works very well to keep hot drinks hot!

I needed new winter boots, too, and I scored 4 pair (!) for a total of $130.00, all on massive end of season sales. At full price they would have been three times that cost. One is a duck boot, one a black dress boot, one a heavy duty fur lined snow boot, and one a short boot. I think I'm set in the boot department for several years :)

I just discovered Fexofenadine, 180 mg. at Sams Club for $27.87 for a bottle of 150!!!! That's insane. It's the generic of Allegra. When I first started taking Allegra it was prescription only and my plan wouldn't cover it. It cost $56 for 30 pills. My brother is picking up a bottle for me tomorrow.

I got a giant bottle of benadryl for like $5 at Costco.

I know I can't believe they had those boots for $5. They are worth so much more. There were a couple other pair of boots in my size but I have to have some restraint lol.

Got a good deal on a Shark Rocket corded stick vacuum on goodwill online. Needed something to vacuum carpet stairs, my upright I'm done with it, too difficult. Works really well. It was new but only missing on attachment I don't have need for it was $67 with shipping.

I was browsing other stuff just for fun and I am sure I am getting a small Baccarat crystal figure for under $8, it doesn't have the identifying sticker but I am pretty good at identifying this stuff. This is not the picture /view I made determination on.

It is rare these days that I get free service with a smile, but it happened yesterday. It was a messy day weather-wise and I needed to have the lubricant levels checked of the front and rear differentials and the transfer case on my Jeep. On occasion, the transfer case had lost some fluid. Our quick oil change Valvoline shop checked those items in a few minutes, said all levels were fine and waved me out the door. There was no charge since they put nothing in. Elsewhere, that would have been a service charge.

Great scores on the freezer, desk and boots, Raven! I really do love that desk. I haven't scored anything...I don't think I have left home in over two weeks, except for the day we went to pick up the cannon. (I'd hardly call that a score...but do have someone interested in buying it for a thousand dollars....so that would be a score!) I have been working here at home....clearing out and cleaning up. And then it rained last night...with more to come....and the mud is back full force. So sick of it.

I was really worried about the amount of rain they were saying we could get. But thankfully it wasn't too bad. The massive thunder at 4am had us all flying out of the bed. It sounded like bombs going off. Poor Mia was shaking so hard I didn't know if she was going to be able to calm down. I hate the mud too!

I've been lusting after a Lodge chicken fryer, to use as a small dutch oven, as well as a fryer. Amazon.ca is notorious for price gouging. A case in point, a couple of years ago I was unable to find San Marzan tomatoes (Costco now carries them periodically). I can buy a case of 6 for $90! Not going to happen, of course LOL.

A chicken fryer is $149.99, here but I ordered on Amazon.com for $25. Shipping is slightly more than the cost, and a fee as well, but the whole thing is still almost $100 cheaper than buying from Canadian Amazon. Not everything can be shipped to Canada, I'm sure, but I'll be looking at the US first before buying anything from amazon.ca

Wow big difference there jasdip! I had one of the chicken fryers and a Dutch oven cast iron. I can find some at flea market's occasionally.

Looks like almost everyone is getting some really good deals, that's great. I'm not doing any shopping other than the basic necessities, like groceries. But I did get a good deal on some canned soups, thanks to someone here! I'd like to thank her for telling about Walmart's "Savings Catcher" app, but I don't remember who it was that posted it.

Anyhow, I like to keep canned soups on hand during the cold winter months, and I had picked up 6 cans in Walmart. The only other grocery store we have had them on sale for $1.00 a can, (I wasn't even aware of their sale) so Walmart refunded $1.29 each for the 6 cans!

Jasdip, I wish I could give you a chicken fryer. I have so much cast iron. It needs to be re-seasoned, since it went thru the flood. I will be busy doing that once I get caught up on the rest of the stuff around here.
