How long after baking soda...
Comments (2)Good point! The sprayer I have is only 5 L so it took me a good while to get the project tackled. PLUS, with my 3 kids I had to wake up at 5 o'clock on 3 days to get it done without messing up our day. So, YES you are right about the wait and see approach. I guess I'm just antsy to get my soil "back to normal"...I haven't seen any "cotton" since my application. Here's hoping!!!!...See MoreHow do I know if PC has baked long enough?
Comments (5)I think if you bake it at the right temperature, you can't really bake it too long. You can bake the same piece multiple times. Say you want to add more clay to it, just rebake and you can't hurt it unless the temp is too high. Seems to me the different clays require different times. I've heard you can underbake so the chemicals in the clay don't get a chance to fully bond, or whatever the technical term is... E.g. I think the Kato clay needs to cure longer. So I guess the best thing is to use that oven thermometer and bake for at least the manufacturers recommended time. I don't of any way to "test" and see if it's fully cured. Although I'll bet glassattic.com has something about that!!...See MoreSOS - how long to bake this bread?
Comments (5)Are you panning it or free-form? If you are panning it, I'd make two loaves because it will probably yield over 2-pounds of dough and you would need a Jumbo-size pan - 10x4-1/2-inches for that amount of dough. If it makes closer to 2-pounds of dough, use a 9x5-inch pan, which are normally used for quick breads. I agree with Deanna on baking time. I agree with Steve on the 210-degree internal temperature, especially if you are making a single, very large, free-form loaf (that's a lot of dough). If panned, somewhere between 195- and 210-degrees, whether you make one or two loaves. The next choice is what kind of crust do you want? Baking breads at lower temperatures (325-350) creates a thicker, chewier crust. Higher temperatures (375-425) produces thinner, crisper crusts. Adjust the baking time according to the temperature. -Grainlady...See MoreChiken Wings - how long to bake?
Comments (12)I'm with those who cook them about an hour...and I di it at 350 for 30 minutes or so flip them, sauce them, jack up thet emp to 425...bake for 15 minutes flip ands auce again. The only expection siw hen I use a honey based sauce and then I just sauce about 15 minutes before they are done. As you can see by all the answers, it's not a demanding food! LOL! If they are brown enough, they are done! And I don't do the "drumettes" bit, I just fold up the whole wing and bake. Linda C...See More- 7 years agolast modified: 7 years ago
