Pool Chaise Lounge Chairs - Perfect -Dallas
Comments (29)Hi Everyone - I am sold out of the chairs - but most of the web sites that sell the chairs are the same price $120 including shipping. It really depends on if you want 6 or 12. My sun shelf is a 6' radius with 12" coping. I would like to purchase chaise pads and they seem to cost the same amount $120 each including shipping. I can really only afford 2 of them so I will have 4 available if there is anyone is interested in going in on them with me- these are especially made of this type of lounge chair. Thanks for the complements on our pool!!...See Moresize of your baja shelf?
Comments (6)Ours is about 8" deep. Our shelf is used mainly for the old farts that come over that don't want to get wet. LOL. Seriously, it's great for that and for, like today, it's 82 degrees in Michigan. The pool is too cold - 66 degrees - to swim in but I put a chair in there and rested my tired, hot feet after a run. Little kids like the shelf but only for a short time. It's the old people and the ladies who didn't bring a suit* who like it the most. *I think a lot of the ladies who said they forgot a suit are just self conscious. But I know, on a hot day, they appreciate being able to sit in a comfy chair, feet in the water, margarita in hand and feel like part of the party that's floating in the pool. Best part is, we have two bubblers on the shelf that are awesome foot massagers when seated in a chair....See MoreBaja shelf as first stair into pool. Seen it?
Comments (27)We are doing the best of both worlds in our pool. We built a beach entry that has a very gentle slope that goes from 0 to 9" in about 12 feet. It will be mostlly quatrzite (and some PT as it gets deeper). Then on the other side of the pool, we built a "kiddie" pool that really is for me. It is 18 inches deep and raised so it flows into the main pool. I plan on putting a lounge chair in there when the kids are not splashing around in it and just laying in the water. I looked at nylon lounge chairs and found many that are either just slightly less than 18" high and some that are just slightly taller than 18". So I will probably order the ones that are 15" or so high and that way my little tush can be in 2-3" of water all the time to keep cool. :) Katherine Here is a link that might be useful: Our pool build -- 3rd pix shows kiddie pool, scroll down a few posts for beach entry....See Morepost a pic of your home swimming pool...
Comments (27)Unfortunately it is not great for laps. Small and the tanning ledge where you see the two chairs in the water takes up a fair amount of space. But it is wonderful for floating, and excellent for gardening cool downs....weed a bit, jump in, dig a little, jump in. We do not close it for the winter...but shut down the waterfall. The main pump has a freeze protection so that it goes on when the temp goes below 34 degrees. My son went in this weekend and the water temp was 63 degrees...he just went in to help with getting leaves out of the main drain leaf trap. We spend a lot of time scooping leaves all fall! But it is worth it. Thanks for starting this thread...love seeing all the beautiful pools. Judy...See Moremodernfun
