Congradulations on your new pool! I am not your person, however I just wanted to agree with you I think these chairs look great. I found them on line this winter and toy'd with the idea of getting them as well. I think they will be completely maintenance free. Are you going to get the cushions as well? Either way they will be comfortable........a beech towel would be fine. Good luck with finding someone in your area.......I shouldn't think It would be hard to find someone.

Hi fellow DFW people. We picked up our chairs from James this weekend and they are great! Very sturdy and easy to move around. He still has some left, if anyone wants to buy them. I had my concerns about buying something from someone that I didn't know, but James really does exist!

your pool is so gorgeous! I love a classic formal looking pool. I'm sure that those chaise lounges are comfortable, but they look so commercial. Not trying to be negative, but that pool deserves something alot more beautiful in my opinion. I hope that you find some really nice cushions to go on them to compliment your pool. Have a look at frontgate.com. they do have some really nice things there for the pool area. By the way, what is your decking made of? I don't think I've seen that one before.

curious where you are located. My local Lowe's does not have chairs like these and would be willing to drive around a bit to get some.

Sam's club has some really nice ones. Aluminum frames with the vinyl straps. ~$90 each tho'...

No way does Lowes have anything close to these chairs. I spent WAY to much time looking for chairs. All the box stores have is really crappy stuff unless you go for the really expensive (overpriced) patio furniture... One thing that most cheap chairs won't have are Arm Rests - not a big deal- I know but somehow when you sit in lounge chairs it is - I like the commerical look - kinda goes with the formal pool. I would like like to purchase more but will have to wait.

sorry to say, but I bought 6 of these same chairs at Lowe's 3 years ago for around $50 each. They are not maintenance free though. I threw away 3 of them due to terrible staining on the white. I store them in the poolhouse every winter and still stained. Power washing helped somewhat and used those magic erasers all over. As a last attempt to get them clean I sprayed clorox all over them and let them sit & scrubbed & scrubbed. I have 3 left for the kids to use at the far end of the pool. I replaced them with 4 of the vinyl/plastic(?) slated loungers sold at Sam's for $89 for the adults. They are white also and I am sure they will stain too given time.

This is commercial grade- and you can't even come close to getting a lounge chair for $50 at least anything decent. Just look on line. One woman I delivered these chairs to, told me she had two of these chairs for over 10 years. They held up fantastic and when she moved to dallas she opted to get new ones. She was very happy with the quality and very excited to own a set again. Do you own due diligence

My bad calihom, what was I thinking putting those cheap $50 Resin chaise lounges around my pool only to throw them away 3 years later. Needless to say, I will never buy anything RESIN again, especially white until they make a resin chair/lounge that comes with a lifetime guarantee not to stain. After doing my own due diligence, I noticed that the Grosfillex Bahia Chaise Lounge chairs that you bought have a 3 year guarantee.
Made of 100% prime resin, a material impervious to salt air, chlorine, and MOST common food and environmental stains. Wonder if I could have claimed my staining with the manufacturer of my chair? They did make it 3 years until I threw them out. Nothing wrong with the construction, just didn't look good anymore. The other 3 are still hanging around my pool, stains and all, 5 years.

I went with expensive heavy aluminum chaises, with straps supporting deep seating cushioins. They are as comfortable as a bed. It was worth the extra dollars. They get used year round, even when it's not swim season. We still enjoy laying by the pool with the waterfall on during cocktail hour.

For swimming, we still use aluminum but with a Sunbrella sling fabric. We got these at Lowes. They weren't expensive and have a 10 year warranty.

I'm not big on resin. I don't think it's very comfortable.

I looked at the aluminum chaises as well. I guess the main reason I went with resin was that fact I wanted the chairs in water in the Baha shelf. I will post some pictures of the chairs in the water - also the fact that I went with a salt water system, I didn't want anything that would rust.

I don't intend to ever put mine in the water so I didn't need resin and went with the aluminum sling-style instead. Bought mine at Costco last year. They had some very nice commercial-grade aluminum lounge chairs that have held up very nicely after a year outside through all sorts of weather. MUCH nicer than the Lowes variety. Don't know if Costco still has this particular chair. I don't see it on their web site. But it's worth a look if anyone is still looking for aluminum sling-style chairs.

poolowner and neednewpool: I love my chairs that I got from calihom. They are commercial quality and a lot better than the box store chairs. I compared them to one that I saw at Lowes. These are the same chairs that I have seen at resort hotels. Also, we wanted to put these on our tanning shelf. Long term, I want to get some really nice metal chairs, but not at the height of swim season! I will wait until fall or winter when hopefully I can find them on sale.

So I have been using my chaise Lounge chairs for a couple of weeks and my wife and I really enjoy them, especially in the water! I thought I would share a some pictures for them. I still have four left!

That's a good idea on the swim-out shelf. I've just used beach chairs, but the resin loungers look fantastic!

How long is the base of the chair? I am wondering if it is too long to fit on my sun shelf.

Hi Everyone - I am sold out of the chairs - but most of the web sites that sell the chairs are the same price $120 including shipping. It really depends on if you want 6 or 12. My sun shelf is a 6' radius with 12" coping.

I would like to purchase chaise pads and they seem to cost the same amount $120 each including shipping. I can really only afford 2 of them so I will have 4 available if there is anyone is interested in going in on them with me- these are especially made of this type of lounge chair. Thanks for the complements on our pool!!

You may want to check out your local outdoor furniture store. I found some high-end commerical lounge chairs at a deal because original buyer didn't like the color. They look great and are comfortable.

kidding, i still like them. but one question...they look very hard. are they really comfortable without cushions? looks a little tough.

How are the chairs holding up after 3 years? I'm in the market for 2 chairs like these, and am in the DFW area.
