I would shift everything to the right a little so the Tv is more centered and let the shiplap be the star

Thanks! It is actually an open concept layout so it leads into the kitchen! We also put up drapes on the connecting wall so didn’t know if this wall needed drapes as well, do you think that would look ok?

You just put up shiplap and now you want to cover it up.

I think if you do curtains, which I would if I were you, then you don’t need anything on the wall. Your house is beautiful.

beautiful space. i would leave that wall the way it is. roman shades on the window next to the wall area you circled would make the space look more complete. you can do a roman shade that doesn't actually function but is just for looks. (almost like a window valance) it costs lot less than getting a functional one.

I thinks it's very nice. If you could shift everything to the right by one foot, (leave the plant) it might look a bit less smooshed.

What if you moved the plant to that spot? in the corner is ok, but it looks a little crowded. you could do a smaller plant on a stand and move the tree to the left of the tv.

or try a medium sized plant in a basket or something, and put it between window/tv on the right

or, just do a simple framed piece of art.

I think drapes to match the others and greenery would be plenty. It’s a pretty, calm space so no need to fill it up
