Use command strips on the sample paper. If you have the console then start placing it around the room. I would not place it near the clock.

maybe try the mirror over the cabinet (instead of the shelf) then a large piece of artwork over the bench. The cushion on the bench looks a little skimpy, I would do something twice as thick with a couple of pillows.

I have used art.com a lot. Their framing is cheaper than what I have found locally (large metro area). Your results may vary. Art should be chosen by you as not everyone is going to like the same things, but art.com has tons of choices. You can look for items that are kitchen themed such as wine bottles if you're into wine. People also sometimes find things they like on etsy. If it were me I would chose something colorful, but that may not be your style.

The guitars would look great against that dark wall. A shelf (or two) over the keyboard could be used for an ever changing display of album covers. They usually have such wonderful art that needs to be seen.
