Help me pick bedding
Comments (3)Only you can decide whether it'll be to froufou for you. I can tell you that I don't think the champagne will work very well, though. I like it much better in the brown for your wall color (which is lovely BTW). What do you think of that color? This set isn't as busy as an all-over print comforter would be . . . and I've seen some gorgeous ones. I love the simple look that SoonerMagic went with. It's very classy but it also looks very warm and inviting. But, I think the comforter set you've pictured here, in the brown not the champagne, is beautiful and could create a very romantic bedroom for you two, as well. You just need to decide whether it's right for you. Heck, how many adults, other than you and your DH, are going to see it? You need to make yourselves happy ;~) !!...See MorePicked drapes, help with bedding?
Comments (5)I have two of the natural pin tuck West Elm duvet covers. I have had them for quite a few years and really like them. A couple things to think about. I also have 4 sets of their sheets. 3 of them are in the natural and were purchased at the same time as the duvet covers...one is white. The reason I have one white is when I purchased a set of natural 2 yrs ago the color was completely different than the lovely pale natural that I have. I returned them and got the white. The pics of the "natural" look the same but it was an ugly yellowy color. Only get this cover when you have everything else and buy it locally so you can return or take your drape swatch with you. When you make the bed be careful how you position the cover...especially if you have a heavy insert...the pleats will "pop" stitches...you don't see where they have pulled but it is disconcerting ! Also one button broke in the wash...I called them and there are no extras and no possibility to purchase replacements...I love the buttons and have washed these covers LOTS of times. They still look new but I wish they sent a couple extra buttons. Hope this helps. WAIT !! c...See MoreHere's my Bedding--help me pick a Gray please!!
Comments (7)Great idea. I've heard places like Home Depot can match just about anything you haul in there. SW Pavestone is actually a pretty decent match to the gray'ish section of the bigger six sided patchwork pillow. I think the gray stripe in the round pillow is going to be lighter, maybe like SW Requisite Gray or BM Revere Pewter....See MoreNeed help picking window treatments for Master Bedroom
Comments (9)This is pretty much the furniture layout, due to doorway one wall with bathroom door same wall on other end. Closet door on another. I tried moving the furniture around including angling bed in corner. I once had the bed on the wall to left of bed, but that has one window as well & it looked more awkward there with no room for side tables. I would consider painting the furniture, eventually, but that is a big job with so much more else to be done. I can live with it for now. Just need suggestions for the curtains....See MoreDawn Norton
