One last thing needed for MBR - accent table next to chair
Comments (41)Our old Pier1 was a place I could spend hours. It had that mix of incense and rope that greeted you when you wanted in the door. The floors squeaked and it had a second story loft that was the big furniture department. You could pick your basic white plates from the racks in the back right next to the bins of sea shells and brass bells. I could spend hours there and I think I still have a bunch of things from that store. Same here! Used to love exploring. It was a hippie haven. Remember the carved wooden boxes from India? Perfect for rolling papers and a nickel bag. ;) And the leather water buffalo sandals from India. Loved those! Some of my favorite dresses came from Pier 1. Hey Jen, I don't know how many times I've seen you post about the poor quality of your phone pics. Why not treat yourself to a new camera to go with the new house? ;)...See MoreAccent tables by chair? Should I or no?
Comments (28)Hi. You have a beautiful space and I like the furniture you've chosen, but you are asking what is best. So, I think there are too many items in the space, which is making it "work" for someone to sit there. I think this was your best arrangement. I'd add a coffee table and remove the table from the hall. The hall table is in a walkway. Of the ones you posted above, I think the last one is the best. You mentioned it was a place to sit, relax, maybe have coffee or read. I am thinking of what I'd need to do in order to do that. I think I'd choose the chair. For the chair, I'd need to remove likely both of the pillows. Then, to set my drink down, I'd have to remove the 2 books and the decor items from the side table. Then, if I chose the last picture, I'd have to move the lamp, because it is too far away from me. You have a unique style and whatever you choose, as long as you like and enjoy it, that is what matters....See MoreMaster window treatments and wall decor
Comments (8)I like selectblinds.com for reasonably priced shades. They have a nice variety and are cheaper than places like Lowe’s or Costco. You just enter in your measurements once you choose a style and color. They’re also super easy to install. Attached is a pic of ours in our master. You can also get blackout shades if you like the room to be dark in the morning. Btw I like you lamps and nightstands. Good luck!...See Moreneed advice on coffee table and accents
