Oklamoni - stockyards city

I always thought that Fort Worth was stockyard city, as that's where my father would take his cattle to sell (and sometimes drag me with him). Fort Worth had wooden sidewalks in the stockyard part of town, and I thought it was very primitive.

On the way to visit my maternal grandparents, we would drive past this ranch:


in Comanche County on State highway 36. I think you can see why I no longer live in Texas.
