What everyone doing???????????
Comments (34)Sounds like everyone is busy.. I spent yesterday at the dentist (kind of) went in to have my partial sized at 8 then had to come back at 4 oclock to get it. I ran to Tulsa met daughter for lunch and went to Material Girls fabric shop and it was out of business. Stopped at WalMart to pick up a couple things daughter needed and found my fan fabric I had everyone looking for that was a stroke of luck I never go to WalMart on a road trip. Got back and the tooth was way the wrong color so a wasted trip.. 50 miles each way.. But I did get to see DD and DGD. Today I am finishing 4 quillows I am making with the Horizon Visitor in my Garden Applique blocks I did this winter. I made one more block of my own design for the pocket Cute I think any way. Will post pictures later. Oh Tuesday I had DGS and we made a quilt ladder to hang all my almost finished quilts on I will post pictures later... I have one week of leasure then I have 3 weeks of running to do... Have a great day,, grace...See MoreNew Year / New LOTTO
Comments (108)Glad to do it! No thanks necessary. I probably won't post pictures each month because the blocks will be the same but with all of them different this month, it seemed like a fun idea. I'll do it again in June when we do the blue/yellow stars. I think that's going to be a pretty batch. And I can hardly wait until the month with the Santa Faces!...See MoreBOM 2019! here we come!
Comments (53)Valarie, If you are still assigning months for the remainder of the year for BOM, I can post a block. I was going to message you, but I didn't see any way to do that other than posting. Just let me know if you need me and which month you would like me to post. Thanks so much :-D...See MoreMarch, 2019 Quilting/Sewing Goals
Comments (13)Sharon, yes all the squares are different 6 1/2" and I think I have two pieces of red, blue, yellow green, etc. . I was using up bits and pieces but did have enough of each colour to do the large block and all of the 2 1/2" in the blocks but did not have any leftovers for that scrappy border. After it was finished I thought it might look much better if all the fabrics were from the same line but that will be another project. Or even an I Spy. It reminded me of Falling Charms as I was laying it out. It does look good to me. Good and scrappy. I was working on it this morning and came up with a different border treatment. I will take a picture of that later. It was quite quick and easy to do. Have fun! Theresa...See Morenannykins
