We have recently been having a bit of a bat problem. If they were living in an old barn like Annie's we'd leave them be, but we can't allow them to roost under our eaves. I think we have convinced them to move on as I haven't seen any up there for the last three mornings. They are still coming around to hunt at night which is fine, but they have to roost elsewhere. They make a terrible mess which is both unsanitary and unsightly. But, they are cute little things!

My exchange student and I redid the dining room chairs this weekend. I bought the material from somewhere, I think, Nicole had recommended. Thank you! The hardest part was taking out all the staples. There were so many and so many broke when pulling them up. The chairs are all done now, legs tightened. They just have to last a couple more years. I'm going to replace the dining set when I replace my kitchen. I liked the set when I bought them but now I really don't like the distressed look, they just look dirty all the time.

Oh my, I was just googling University of Wisconsin’s tradition freshmen rubbing the left foot of the Abe Lincoln staute and an artcle popped up protesting the statue. DD attended there briefly.

Maire, There's been a (claimed) popular TV program in Canada called "Schitt's Creek" for a couple of years, at least, I've heard (but not seen). Maybe it's quite a yarn: couldn't tell you whether a ball or not. I think that it's won some prizes. ole joyful
