We just moved into this brand new house, and we're not thrilled with the brown wood siding. We feel it clashes with the white window trim, and we don't think it particularly compliments anything else for that matter.

We're having trouble deciding on a color to paint it, though. We like the front door. The house is pretty bland with lots of grays, so it's nice to have the front door as a splash of color, both inside and out. But we want to find a color for the siding that plays nice with it, and also goes with the rest of the exterior.

We're thinking about a grayish blue. We think that would look great with the white window trim, as well as compliment the rest of the house without clashing with the green door. We've also used blue extensively on the interior for our furniture and shades, so that would create some flow between the inside and outside. But we're not sure what shade, how dark, and whether it should be a pure blue or more of a greenish blue.
